The Scheduler will accomplish requirements in support of a product manager with developing complex schedules utilizing Microsoft Project. Ideal candidates have recent and relevant experience gained from prior military/civilian/contractor scheduling support and are adept at briefing mid and senior government staff personnel.

Develop and maintain Microsoft Project integrated master schedule for a complex program. Interface with the Government customer to understand the program's acquisition strategy. Support the formulation, development, and assessment of project schedules, progress assessment plans and project status reporting.

Provide information for procurement planning/forecasting for operating programs. Use independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload in a high-pace and detail-oriented environment. Interface with Product Management Office leadership, Assistant Product Managers, Product Integrators, and Logistics / Technical / Business representatives to receive schedule inputs and integrate them into the schedule. Create, analyze, and maintain Integrated Master Schedules in Microsoft Project for various lifecycle efforts.

Collect and analyze Integrated Master Schedule deliveries from vendors. Generate Integrated Master Schedule formats and outputs as required by Product Management Office personnel.

Participate in working groups and Integrated Product Teams requiring schedule design or analysis (i.e. Integrated Baseline Reviews, Integrated Product Team meetings, senior management briefing preparation). Participate in the control of contract schedules requiring a validated schedule control system. Participate in the preparation of schedules for all contract work. Develop plans including schedules to meet contractual/project requirements for several major portions of a program.

Required Skills

  • 5 years' experience (A BS degree can substitute for 4 years' experience) with the following: Microsoft Project Scheduling experience including establish predecessor linkages within a schedule, load and maintain resources, generate graphical and visual reports, create custom reports, and create a master project plan to consolidate multiple projects

Job Requirements * Responsible for development, implementation, and maintainability of Integrated Master Schedules, including detailed supporting schedules utilizing Microsoft Project Professional. * Ensure compliance with industry standard best scheduling practices, and applicable government scheduling guides / requirements. * Conduct interviews with Program / Project / Cost Account Managers, Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, Manufacturing Planners to acquire schedule data used in developing, maintaining, status, and reporting for multiple projects. * Advanced level of knowledge with Earned Value Management (EVM) processes, analysis, metrics, and reporting. * Support Program / Project / Cost Account Managers in planning, analysis, earned value metrics, risk assessments, tracking, and reporting. * Development / Integration of Planning Package to Work Package activities, schedule logic sequencing, and constraints in the IMS. * Perform Schedule Resource loading (as required) including assessments of resources, resource anomalies, and corrective actions. * Work with Program / Project, CAM / Cost analysts to ensure integrity and alignment of schedule / cost baselines. * Support processing and transfer of schedule data to and from cost (EV) / manufacturing data systems. * Conduct and report IMS Schedule Risk Assessments and Health check analysis. * Develop / build / maintain IMS change Log, Schedule Change Report (SCR), and Baseline Change Requests as needed. * Prepare and Participate in Integrated Baseline Review. * Participate in DCMA Audits (as needed). * Support Customer comments to the IMS / DCMA 14 Point Analysis. * Develop / track / analyze / report Critical Path. * Participated in or knowledge of DCMA Surveillance Audit. * Coordinate / participate in OTB/OTS processes and rebaseline events as needed. * Knowledge of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). * Understanding of Manufacturing Bill of Materials (BOM). Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business related field or equivalent experience/combined education. Must have 10+ years of scheduling and Earned Value Management (EVM) working experience. Other Qualifications: Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills. Project Server experience. Project Server administrator is a plus.Proficient with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Project Server, Microsoft Office Products, Milestone Professional.
