The Scheduling Specialist is responsible for managing patient referrals and visit schedules. Assigns patient assessments and other visits as ordered by the physician using online scheduling system. Collaborates with the Team Leader to identify clinicians with the appropriate experience and skill set to match patient needs.Additional Details

QualificationsEducation RequirementsHigh school education or equivalent. Education DesiredPost high school education preferred.

Experience RequirementsMinimum one year of scheduling experience in health care setting using an online scheduling system. Skill RequirementsExceptional organizational, customer service, communication, and decision making skills required.Working knowledge of state and federal regulations governing OASIS visits, supervisiory, and reassessment visits

VIEW JOBS 11/10/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-08T00:00 BAYADA Senior Living, a specialty program of BAYADA Home Health Care, is currently seeking experienced Registered Nurses, RNs for Full-time and part-time opportunities performing home health visits in senior living communities out of our Salisbury Senior Living office. * This position will cover Independent Living Communities in Salisbury and Mooresville. * One year prior clinical experience as a licensed RN is required. * The foundation of the Senior Living program is exceptional clinical care and relationship management as BAYADA clinicians become a true healthcare partner in the senior living communities. Communities include assisted living, independent living, senior congregate living, 55+ communities, and memory/ Alzheimer and dementia communities. * Experience in senior living communities preferred but not required. * The right candidate may also have the opportunityl to advance into a Program Manager or Team Lead position as needed and appropriate. Responsibilities * Making home visits to clients in designated geographic territories. * Performing assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures. * Monitoring clients' conditions; reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager. * Following up with, executing, and properly documenting doctors' orders. * Performing client assessments as necessary. * Case management and coordination. * Maintaining good communication with communities and all staff within the communities. Qualifications * A current license as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina. * A minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience. * Prior home care experience strongly preferred, but not required. * Demonstrated ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English. * Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. * Strong interpersonal skills. * Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred. * Ability to travel to cases as assigned with reliable transportation.
