Scheduler

Quad City Gastroenterology, located in Moline, IL is looking for a full-time Procedure Scheduler to join our busy and growing practice.

About the Opportunity

The Procedure Scheduler works closely with the provider, Practice Manager, ASC Manager, and other support staff to schedule office and ASC medical procedures.

• Schedules diagnostic and imaging tests

• Schedules office and ASC-based medical procedures, tests, and imaging ensuring maximum efficiency of schedule

• Confirms patient insurance and provide accurate, detailed information to patients regarding test preparations, time of arrival, and any other pertinent information

This role will operate Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

About the Candidate

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

• Proficient with office equipment to include computer, scanner, electronic fax, and typing skills

• Previous experience in procedure scheduling strongly preferred

• Medical Assistant background is helpful

• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems
