VectorCSP is looking for an experienced Scheduler to work in the Killeen, TX area at Fort Hood.

Job Summary:
Coordinate with senior squadron leadership on a daily and weekly basis to build long- and short-range schedules to ensure full coverage of all pilots and aircrew, instructors, evaluators, support personnel, and supervisor positions.

Requirements:

  • Secret Clearance required

Education and Experience:

  • Military technical training in the scheduling career field a plus.

  • Two years' experience working in a squadron (CAF FS/USAFWC/ASOS), group, or wing scheduling program.

  • Two Years' experience using PEX (FS) or TACTICS (ASOS) or similar scheduling program.

  • Two Years' experience using Microsoft Office Suite.

Essential Duties:

  • Coordinate with senior squadron leadership on a daily and weekly basis to build long- and short-range schedules to ensure full coverage of all Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC), instructor, evaluator, support personnel, and supervisor positions.

  • Populate and publish unit scheduling data for long- and short-range ground, academic, terminal control, and simulator training event schedules IAW Air Support Operations Group (ASOG) guidance.

  • Track JTACs/operations personnel availability (i.e., leave, temporary duty, scheduled medical appointments or other scheduling commitments). De-conflict JTAC/operations personnel schedules and work with squadron leadership to ensure JTACs/operations personnel are available to meet assigned tasks.

  • Perform daily updates of scheduling data to compensate for changing conditions and training completion rates.

  • Facilitate last-minute schedule changes to ensure full coverage by working with the current mission commander/operations supervisor (or equivalent).

  • Track daily terminal controls/task evaluation/academic training requirements and accomplishments to facilitate accurate scheduling as directed by the DO, basing JTAC schedules on experience to mitigate ORM. Report updates to squadron and group leadership.

  • Coordinate with the unit operations training, unit mobility support, and DO to arrange a schedule to facilitate mission qualification, upgrade, test, exercises, and continuation training accomplishment to meet required currency and progression standards, IAW DO priorities.

  • Obtain equipment availability data from support personnel to schedule JTACs for training, exercises, simulators, and operations.

  • Assist in determining terminal control, ground, and simulator schedule requirements for upgrade, initial qualification, mission qualification, currency, and continuation training based on syllabus requirements, student progression, weather, and daily equipment or training range availability.

  • Coordinate with OSS Plans department, outside agencies/exercise participants, and higher headquarters (Warfighter exercises, GREEN FLAG, Weapons School Support, etc.) to report and facilitate exercise and special event schedule coordination.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Be able to adapt quickly to changing circumstances in a medium- to high-stress environment.

  • Ability to cross train into other support functions for company/customer needs.

  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.

  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service.

  • Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.

  • Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.

  • Job requires being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks.

Assist the General Manager by continually focusing on achieving hotel profitability through revenue generation cost control guest satisfaction and development of associates. Exempt associates are expected to work as much of each workday as is necessary to complete their job responsibilities (OEM associates are required to work a minimum of 47.5 hours per work week). Exempt managers must customarily and regular direct the work of at least 3 full-time associates or their equivalents. Primary duties must consist of administrative executive or professional tasks more than 50 percent of the time and job duties must also involve the use of discretion and independent judgement more than 50 percent of the time. Responsibilities QUALIFICATIONS: * At least 5 years progressive experience in a Rooms or F&B department Hotel; or a 4-year college degree and at least 2 to 3 years experience in a Rooms or F&B department at a Hotel; or a 2-year college degree and at least 3 to 4 years of experience in a Rooms or F&B department at a Hotel. * Previous supervisory experience required. * Must be proficient in Windows Operating Systems. * Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately. * Must work well in stressful high-pressure situations. * Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure. * Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating preventing identifying and solving problems as necessary. * Must have the ability to assimilate complex information data etc. from disparate sources and consider adjust or modify to meet the constraints of the particular need. * Must be effective at listening to understanding clarifying and resolving the concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests. * Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data and basic arithmetic functions. * Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive friendly courteous and service oriented manner. * Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel. * Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming which include compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality's dress code and wearing a nametag when working (per brand standards) * Comply and ensure adherence to Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations. * Comply with certification requirements as applicable for position to include: Food Handlers Alcohol Awareness CPR & First Aid. * Ensure the efficient operation of the hotel in the absence of the General Manager by supervising and supporting the Guest Services Food & Beverage Food Production Engineering Accounting Sales and Housekeeping departments.
