Responsibilities

• Responsible for coordinating all patient referrals at the request of the provider.

• Responsible for scheduling all necessary appointments, coordinating with the patient and outside referral provider.

• Responsible for notifying patient of appointment and give any instructions needed.

• Responsible for entering referral information into the EHR and sending records to referral as needed.

• Performs additional prior authorization responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 6 months minimum experience in good customer service and people interaction

• Scheduling related experience
