Aureus Group has partnered with one of the best companies in Kansas City, MO to find an SCCM Administrator to configure, manage, and control the endpoint computing devices in the company in a manner that optimizes performance and security. This is a direct hire opportunity. Local candidates are preferred since no relocation assistance will be offered. This is a wonderful company to work for with an employee-friendly culture.
Responsibilities of the SCCM Administrator:
Perform software upgrades
Test and implement new software and test, implement, and maintain specialty systems
Provide advanced technical support to first and second tier technical support resources
Optimize performance of endpoint computing devices to include desktop computers, laptops, and tablets to create and maintain and standard, secure, an ideal endpoint computing environment.
Develop and maintain a security baseline for the corporate endpoint computing devices using industry best practices and standards.
Develop and maintain standard endpoint images as well as the process for deployment of images to endpoints using standard endpoint management system.
Maintain application installation packages standards.
Create and deploy application installation packages by utilizing a centralized software distribution solution for the purpose of upgrading software, deploying new software, and patching software on the corporate endpoint devices.
Provide advanced technical support for Service Desk Analysts.
Stay up-to-date with leading technology for the endpoint computing devices in Dickinson Financial and Affiliate Banks and make recommendations suitable for the corporation.
Regular attendance is required, working at the worksite during regular business hours and/or assigned hours.
Minimum Qualifications of the SCCM Administrator:
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field. Advanced technical experience may be substituted for education. Computer Science degree a Plus.
Must have at least 3-5 years' experience in a corporate technology department with a focus on creating a secure Windows environment using Group Policies, creating and maintaining master images, and software package deployment. Utilizing SCCM for these functions is preferred.
Excellent diagnostic skills as well as verbal and written communication skills.
