I. Job Summary

Serves as the first point of contact for customers depositing waste at a Waste Management Facility; calculates payments, checks loads, and ensures the safety of the customer and other employees through observation of safety rules and regulations.

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.

  • Greets customers, directs customers and other traffic, and answers questions accurately.

  • Correctly calculates payments for customers.

  • Ensures that incoming garbage loads are safe and do not contain any inappropriate material.

  • Ensures that customers and employees conduct all business in a safe manner and wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

  • Provides general upkeep of the Scale House.

  • Completes all administrative tasks including regular filing, and completes required reports.

  • Keeps immediate supervisor fully informed of all problems or matters requiring his/her attention.

  • Attends company sponsored training and meetings as directed.

  • Works overtime as needed.

  • Performs other duties as assigned, including data entry and minor customer service responsibilities.

  • Approaches all encounters with employees, customers and vendors in a friendly, service oriented manner.

  • Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D (accredited)
  • Experience: No prior work experience required.

Responsibilities JOB SUMMARYProvides operational spa support, hosts guided tours and provides information of spa services. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Assists guests in the correct use of all facilities; sauna, steam room and fitness equipment. * Ensures the smooth operation of the Spa and completes all shift duties. * Responds to inquiries providing complete details of all spa, salon and fitness amenities. * Ensures individualized guest service through acknowledging and responding to guest's needs and expectations. * Responsible for the cleanliness of lockers, hallways, artwork, fixtures, treatment rooms, offices and consultation rooms, steam and sauna facilities, stairwells, bathrooms and service closets. * Remove trash from work areas and linen from cleaning carts. * Maintains linen inventory. Reports any linen shortages or other discrepancies to the appropriate manager or supervisor. * Ensures stocking of all spa amenities and toiletries. Moves, stores and stocks furniture supplies and equipment. * Distributes linen to designated areas in the Spa in accordance with established levels in each area. * Maintains a thorough knowledge of current guest services, activities, dining options, shops, local attractions and historical information regarding the Company and the surrounding area to answer guest questions. * Other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES * Strong verbal communication skills. * High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
