Scale Clerk

• Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate departments or individuals

• Answer telephone calls and respond to inquiries via telephone and email

• Have strong written and verbal communication skills

• Meet Client requirements

• Report plant incidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management

• Follow all company policies and procedures

• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information including files and records

• Ensure the integrity of Import and Export documentation such as Bills of Lading and packing lists

• Ensure stationary supplies for office are readily available and replenish as necessary

• Have technological capabilities to use Logistics Software easily

• Update Excel logs

• Process Tank Wagon orders in MES and SAP

• Scale in and out Trucks as needed

• Create badges for employees as necessary

• Have skills required to write emails and memos in a professional manner

• Be able to implement office procedures

• Perform routine bookkeeping tasks

• Be able to keep track of all trailers dropped on-site
