Sunbelt Rentals--the fastest growing rental business in North America--is seeking a Product Specialist. As a Product Specialist, you will provide product specific market expertise over a geographic area that encompasses the Outside Sales Representative (OSR) territories from one or more Profit Centers as determined by the Scaffold Operations Manager (SOM) and Senior Scaffold Operations Manager.
To generate increased opportunities to the host Profit Centers and to expand market share and revenues associated with a specific product line. To work with the SOM to develop OSR's within the target Region on their knowledge and expertise of the product specialties.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
To work closely with the Host Profit Center Manager and Regional SOM on development and maintenance of market plans and objectives in the assigned market area(s) of specialty.
To provide the same with regard to Goals, Objectives, and Step by Step methods to achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly forecast and goals.
To work diligently using the resources of the PC and the Region of the SOM to capture additional market share outside of the PC's current business independently, making proper decisions with the following objectives:
To Increase Product Specific Volume.
To provide the customer with a high level of professionalism and expertise.
Quote services and rentals that are both, in the best interest of the Profit Center and the customer, as to insure profitability and repeat business over an extended period of time.
To report back on all efforts, findings, trends, competitive analysis, and provide equitable recommendations as to what the Profit Center needs to do to advance both product specific capabilities and market share success.
Minimum H.S. Diploma and/or 10-15 years' experience in specific industry.
Under Grad Degree and/or 5-10 years' experience in specific industry.
Graduate Degree and/or 1-3 years' experience in specific industry.
Must be willing to travel within assigned territory often and outside from time to time.
