NGS Provider Enrollment Representative I-Part B

  • The pay for this position is non-negotiable:
  • $16.36 hourly (Hingham, MA)
  • $14.34 hourly (Harrisburg, PA)
  • $14.47 hourly (Denison, TX)
  • $14.45 hourly (Indianapolis, IN)

Candidate will be required to pass a typing test

Responsible for reviewing and processing credentialing applications and supporting documentation for the purpose of enrolling individual physicians and physician groups with payers.

Responsible for accurate and timely processing of Part B provider enrollment applications.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Interact professionally with providers and staff representatives to provide information on any necessary documentation required for processing.

  • Plan, prioritize, organize and complete work to meet established objectives.

  • Track and follow up with providers for timely return of all required documents and applications.

Location: This position may be filled at either of these offices

Training/Work Schedule:

  • This is an in-office only position. You will not be able to work from home.

  • Training: 5 week training class- Monday

  • Friday from 8:30am

  • 5:00pm

  • Work hours: Start as early as 7:00am working an 8 hour shift

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and databases

  • Capable of meeting time-sensitive deadlines and multi-tasking

  • Strong Data entry skills

  • Candidate will be required to pass a typing test
  • 1+ years of data entry experience

  • Ability to work independently and remain on task

  • Strong organization and planning skills

  • Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills including professional telephone etiquette

  • Intermediate level of research and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Provider Enrollment, Provider Relations, or Credentialing preferred.

  • 855 application processing knowledge- highly preferred

  • Knowledge of CMS (Center for Medicare/Medicaid Services) regulations and guidelines - highly preferred

This license will be current (not revoked, suspended, or lapsed in registration), valid, and unencumbered (not subject to restriction pertaining to the scope, location, or type of practice ordinarily granted to other applicants for similar licenses in granting jurisdiction). * Must have completed a residency or have provided direct patient acre within the last three years. * A minimum of one (1) year post-graduate training must be Accreditation Council for Graduate Medial Education (ACGME) accredited. * Possess and maintain a current Basic Life Support (BLS) Training Certification from the American Heart Association. BLS must include Hands-On skills session. * Your medical school must be Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) or Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation (COCA) accredited. * You must have completed a Accreditation Council for Graduate Medial Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) accredited residency and/or have had direct patient care within the past three (3) years.
