SCA Material Coordinator

Job Description: The Air Traffic Control (ATC) Division of BAE Systems is looking for a SCA Material Coordinator to help assist in the various aspects of Supply Chain Management.

The selected candidate will be assisting various projects over multiple contracts to ensure continued supply support. This support could consist of shipping, receiving, procurement, export, transportation, warehousing, data entry, etc. This position will heavily focus on Navy ERP, including all facets of MILSTRIP ordering and receiving as well as Warehouse Operations.

The selected candidate may provide support at any of the locations in Southern Maryland (Great Mills, Lexington Park, Patuxent River, or Saint Inigoes). These locations may or may not be climate controlled. Conditions may vary depending on the time of year.

The selected individual will be working with government customers, BAE Systems employees, and other contractors on-site. The four dimensions of customer service - time, dependability, communication, and convenience - must be instilled into the candidate to ensure the continued support and trust of our customer.

Responsibilities will include the coordination of material movements and the proper care of government and BAE Systems material. Duties for this position will include physical exertion such as lifting (no more than 40lbs), stooping, standing, bending, squatting, reaching, and climbing ladders.

Hazardous materials are part of the work environment. The selected candidate will be required to adhere to the BAE Systems Safety rules and regulations. This could include the proper use of Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) and other forms of safety instruments.

This position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in St. Mary's County, near to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station.

There is no monetary relocation assistance budgeted for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to St. Mary's County, Maryland or surrounding areas.Required Education, Experience, & Skills Experience with Navy ERP MILSTRIP ordering, receipt, research, etc.

High School Diploma / or equivalent and at least 2 years of related experience

Active background investigation (CAC) or security clearance

Excellent data entry skills

Customer service oriented

Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to be self-motivated

Experience with Microsoft Office

Willingness to work extra hours and flex hours if necessary

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Associate or Bachelor's degree

Navy ERP warehouse operations training / access
