SCA Engineering Technician III

Job Description SCA Engineering Technician will become part of a team that is committed to providing a vital advantage to help our customers protect what really matters. We are looking for detail oriented, innovative and hard-working team players who are driven to do their best, who will always do what's right and are passionate about making a difference in the lives of our military and government customers.Required Education, Experience, & Skills High School Diploma and at least 4 years of experience in electronic systems, including installing electronic systems equipment and designing, preparing and modifying engineering documents and drawings

Experience with procedures, schematics, technical manuals, drawings, and wire lists

Ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings and specific instructions

Soldering and cable fabrication experience

Operational skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

Mechanical aptitude and experience with a range of hand and power tools

Ability to frequently work in a sitting, standing or walking position

Ability to frequently lift and carry 10 pounds and occasionally lift and carry 50 pounds

Ability to climb ladders and work at heights

Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. driver's license

Ability to obtain a passport and to travel up to 50% of the year within the U.S. and overseas

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills At least 6 years of experience in electronic systems, including installing electronic systems equipment and designing, preparing and modifying engineering documents and drawings

Pay Information

This position is covered by a wage law called the McNamara-O'Hara Service Contract Act (SCA). The wage range for this position is determined by the Wage and Hour Division of the Department of Labor on a contract-by-contract basis.
