Job Description

  • Contract Operations Supply Planner

Provide premier customer service to the Pepsi Beverages Company (PBC) - Central Division

  • Role is responsible for all aspects of Order Management, Order Entry Process/System, SKU-DC Transitions

  • Monitors and proactively manages inventory position on all Co-Pack SKUs at each PBC Plant/Warehouse and movement of inventory between sites

  • Ensures replenishment timing and quantity on order are appropriate to support Plant/Warehouse network.

  • Coordinates with Demand and Production Planning on supply related issues

  • Work with Logistics to ensure proper execution of freight moves

  • Provide key supply chain communication to senior managers and executives within PBNA


  • Use Avail Order Module and SAP (where applicable) to create loads that will deliver into PBC DSD locations direct from Co-Packers or from the Mixing Centers

  • Manage orders created to delivery to PBC DSD location

  • Ensures sufficient product is ordered/delivered to accommodate innovation launch requirements

  • Review prior days OOS daily for each network supported

  • Performs analysis to determine root cause of OOS

  • Use various reports in conjunction with Avail to monitor and proactively move inventory between sites

  • Maintains and ensures accuracy of data related to ordering in Avail, IPUM, and SAP

  • Ensures data is updated timely to facilitate data flow to the planning tools

  • Analyzes and troubleshoots supply chain processes

  • Helps to resolve supply-related delays, obstacles, conflicts, and product supply issues on Co-Pack SKUs

  • Monitors and scorecards project milestones

  • Educate supply network on Co-Pack planning process

  • Communicate on a weekly basis to network issues/concerns/orders

  • Work with DCs and Production Planning Team to mitigate OOS risk



  • Bachelor's degree required; concentration in Supply Chain or Engineering preferred

  • Superior analytical skills

  • Leadership qualities

  • High proficiency with MS Office products; particularly Excel, Word and Outlook

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • 2-4 yrs previous experience desired: Sales and/or Operations experience, including Demand and Supply planning and scheduling is an asset

Make recommendations as to those metrics that can be improved and implement solutions. * Make recommendations to the structure of the metrics to ensure that they meet the needs of the business while fostering a learning environment. * Develop an AAE master location where all AAE documentation is held. Maintain governance, while considering security and sensitive information. * Ensure the program schedule and timelines are being met. * Oversee all hiring efforts and regularly report on pipeline and goal progress. * Develop, implement and maintain existing sales programs as needed throughout the year. * Maintain reporting and metrics cadence that include regular documentation of progress. * Quality Assurance. Develop and manage the tools, systems, redundancy planning, processes, and reporting to monitor and mitigate operational and financial risks associated with our productivity and quality performance SLA's. * Process Improvement. Collaborating with internal departments and external vendors to create, harmonize, document, communicate, train, manage and continuously improve all sales and sales operations AAE related processes. * Meet regularly with WW recruiting to review and best adjust any current strategies to ensure the high bar for hiring is met. * Report on hiring progress during all recruiting seasons. * Manage the AAE candidate sourcing and report on progress daily during peak hiring seasons. * Lead the intern's onboarding and reporting to student programs on progress. * Oversee new hire training programs, schedules, and documentation. Manage logistics as well as scheduling and other items related. * Develop relationships and processes with sales, finance, HR, sales operations, and other stakeholders to identify and address reporting issues, gaps in processes, and drive timely resolution. * Prepare ad hoc analysis & participate on projects as needed. * Ensure that Sales Managers have visibility in all aspects of evaluating future AE performance. * Present written recommendations and insights to stakeholders that will help shape effective strategies. * Continually improve ongoing reporting and analysis, automation or simplifying the processes. * Float between offices as needed to support the AAEs.
