The Signers' Business Office (SBO) at the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF) is seeking a full-time Human Resources Manager. The SBO provides financial and human resource services and support to UAF faculty, staff, and students.

The SBO team assists stakeholders in complying with complex federal, state, and university policies and procedures. Staff work in partnership with the university community to support the broader mission of the UAF. This position will process personnel actions (including hires, changes, and terminations), manage web timesheets and verify payroll, and assist hiring managers and search committees with recruitments for units using the SBO (Approximately 40 units). We invite applicants with a strong knowledge of human resources policies and procedures to apply for this exciting opportunity within the SBO.

Candidates should have excellent communication and multi-tasking skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented and deadline-driven environment. This position will be physically located at the UAF campus in Fairbanks, Alaska. While there may be a current opportunity for remote work dependent on experience, we are seeking an applicant who will report to work in the office. This is a full-time, regular, benefit-eligible position.
