Responsibilities & Duties

  • Attend trainings and meetings as assigned.

  • Comply with Bank's established loan policies and procedures.

  • Comply with SBA guideline and requirements.

  • Comply with regulatory requirements including Bank Secrecy Act-Anti Money Laundering, OFAC, US Patriot Act, Privacy Act and Community Reinvestment Act.

  • Proper record keeping of relevant documents as assigned.

  • Provide quality customer service (internal & external) to various inquiries and prepare necessary approvals.

  • Order various reports from using required operating systems.

  • Follow up on due diligence items, documents, verification documents.

  • Collect pending items required by loan covenants such as annual tax returns and evidence of property taxes.

  • Conduct post default due diligence, including making collection calls and sending demand letter.

  • Participate in audit follow ups and portfolio management.

  • Communicate with involved parties on an assigned loan as the primary contact for the Bank.

  • Collect and analyze relevant information for loan workout.

  • Present various credit recommendations and underwrite loan workout in related to problem loans.

  • Identify and report to appropriate channels any significant document discrepancies pertaining to loan and collateral.

  • Follow up and monitor various loan reports.

  • Understand SBA Portfolio Analyst's responsibility and ready to be the back-up.

  • Other duties and responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.

Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree

VIEW JOBS 11/14/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-12T00:00 Responsibilities As Oaktree's Portfolio Analytics, Risk and Reporting team continues to expand its suite of client and portfolio management reports, we are seeking an individual to help produce reports as well as engineer and implement operational production routines to ensure that high quality reports are delivered accurately, consistently and on time. #LI-SD1 Responsibilities include: * Successfully deliver analyses and reports to clients, prospects, consultants and investment teams by understanding Oaktree's complex, systematic investment process, markets invested in, financial instruments used and reporting processes. * Evolve our reporting suite in response to, and in anticipation of, client and industry demands; * Coordinate, to the extent needed, the production of reporting content needed from other Oaktree departments, including Legal, Compliance, Accounting, and Marketing; * Master system technology to learn to create data extracts for reporting purposes. Review financial data for various Oaktree portfolios and develop charts and tables for presentations and publications; * Serve as a subject matter expert and resource to Product Specialists, Marketing Representatives, Portfolio Managers and Client Services; * Conduct, as necessary, competitor analysis, performance contribution/attribution analysis, and other reports at the request of members of Marketing, Client Relations and the Investment Teams. Qualifications * 1-2 years of experience at an Asset Management company, Investment Bank or other related financial services company. * Familiarity with credit instruments (high yield bonds, senior loans and convertible securities) is preferred. * Knowledge of relevant reporting outputs and metrics including portfolio accounting, performance reporting, risk metrics and portfolio characteristics. * Familiarity with different reporting perspectives: Region/Country breakdown, industry breakdown, maturity distributions, credit quality ratings. * Comfortable and capable of working with portfolio managers, prospects and clients to understand and define reporting requirements. * Experience analyzing financial data and metrics with sufficient familiarity to recognize potential issues. * Experience managing and manipulating large amounts of data in Microsoft Excel.
