We have a great opportunity for anexperienced Calibration Lab Manager to join our team in Sayreville,NJ. In this role, you will be responsible for directing the operationof a technical service branch offices that provides calibration, maintenance,and repair of complex electronic, mechanical and process control assemblies andinstrumentation, under the guidance of the Regional Service Manager. Achieve business objectives (revenue, profitability,core growth, and operational performance) in an entrepreneurial atmospherewith limited direct supervision from the District Manager.
Manage branch P&L to include planning, budgeting,staffing and leading a cross-functional team of technical, logistics,customer service, and sales personnel.
Develop, recruit and retain personnel resources tobuild an effective team.
Implement the quality management system to achievecustomer fulfillment, support new business, and achieve market growth.
Own the customer relationship; establish and fostercustomer intimacy through routine interaction with key customerrepresentatives.
Partner with sales counterparts on new businessopportunities to develop support strategies that will facilitateachievement of annual business objectives.
Manage employee relations to ensure a progressiveworkforce.
Supportand enhance the "Fortive Business System" culture by driving continuousimprovement in all areas of business and personally utilizing Growth, Lean and
Promotethe use of right FBS tools to analyze and solve high-priority problems,ensuring process based countermeasures and root cause analysis.
Minimum of 3 years' experience (5 yearspreferred) in a supervisory/management role required preferably inmetrology or a related technical industry.
Experience managing a "technical service"preferred.
Preferred minimum of 5 years of technical experience inthe metrology field with a demonstrated expertise in electronic equipmentcalibration or physical/dimensional calibration.
Experience managing through influence in a matrixenvironment preferred.
Bachelor's degree required.
Solid experience in attracting, recruiting andretaining top performers.
Strong communication, human relations, and teambuilding skills along with accomplishments in leading, motivating,training, and developing subordinates.
Demonstrated achievements in meeting revenue objectivesby developing and managing new business opportunities in a high-technologyservice industry a plus.
Demonstrated success with planning, organizing, andtime management.
Microsoft Office proficiency (PowerPoint, Word, Excel,& Outlook) and industry specific software.
Must have a valid driver's license and a clean drivingrecord.
Must be able to travel.
