Satellite Control Network Program Analyst
SAIC is currently seeking Program Analyst candidates to support program and financial data development for the Air Force Satellite Control Network (AFSCN). This position requires a current TS-level clearance, SCI eligibility and the ability to obtain SAP access.
Satellite Control Network Program Analyst - provides analytical and subject matter expert support to HQ Air Force Space Command leaders and staff.
Assist the Program Element Monitor (PEM) in maintaining financial awareness of the operational and programmatic environment of the Division
Develop and gain staff approval of Execution and Spend Plans
Coordinate approval of subordinate-unit Unfunded Requirements and provides justification through the HQ approval process
Draft and defend the Program Objective Memorandum submission
Monitor execution rate and performs actions related to financial baseline management
Maintain a current knowledge of congressional passage of appropriations and authorization bills affecting the DoD and works with HQ Air Force and The Air Force Secretariat to fulfill congressional intent
Develop and maintain data and presentation material for leadership decision support
Maintain operations performance metrics
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor Degree and 6 years related work experience.
Technical understanding of space operations and policy is preferred.
Current Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
Must be able to obtain a SAP clearance
Recent knowledge of the AFSCN mission, sites, network and general tasks associated with satellite operations
Fluent in fiduciary law and have knowledge of the PPBS financial processes and familiarity with the tools of financial transactions (FM Suite, CRIS, ABSS, CAFDex, DEAMS, ABIDES, RAPIDS)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Recent skills using one of more of the tools of financial transactions
Recent experience with one or more AFSCN organizations or related SATOPS initiatives
Recent Headquarters experience in resource advisement
