Huntington Ingalls Industries (Camber Corporation) provides mission-critical engineering and technical service to Information Technology, Federal Civilian, and National Security, Aerospace & Defense and International government and commercial customers at over 100 locations worldwide.

HII-Camber is currently seeking a qualified person to fill the role of SATCOM Support at Shaw, AFB, SC. This position is contingent upon contract award.

The following statements of duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position. These statements are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities required of all personnel within this position. Actual duties and responsibilities may vary depending upon assignments and other factors.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the analysis and management of USAFCENT programs supporting legacy tactical satellite and wideband systems military and commercial satellite ground terminals, Iridium BGAN terminals, INMARSAT phones, modems, and cryptographic equipment.

  • Provide expertise and assistance to staff engineers in the design of digital and satellite (tactical and strategic) data and voice and ISR telecommunications systems.

  • Assist with management of transmission projects and provide project advice to USAFCENT/A6.

  • Review wireless network requirements and utilize information to design appropriate architecture solutions.

  • Assist in the analysis and management of USAFCENT programs supporting Air Force, DoD, and commercial satellite bandwidth allocation.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical communications field and four years' experience in relevant area or eight years' experience with the technical and analytical aspects associated with management, configuration, and operation of fixed and tactical Satellite communications equipment. (Following KSA experience time requirements can be concurrent with this KSA time requirement).

  • Minimum of two years' experience with Federal Acquisitions and Contracting.

  • Minimum of one year experience in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

  • Minimum of two years' experience with program management at the numbered AF/Component Command Equivalent Staff level or higher.

Security:

  • US Citizenship required

  • Must have and maintain a valid U.S. passport

  • Candidate must possess Secret Clearance

  • All candidates will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation and drug screening per HII requirements.

HII-MIS is currently seeking a Stan/Eval Support Executive Administrative Assistant at Shaw AFB, SC. This position is contingent upon contract award and the Government's approval of your candidacy. Duties and Responsibilities (to include but not be limited to the following): * Maintain accountability and control of flight testing materials. * Update data in PEX, future equivalent systems to PEX, and locally-developed computer database systems. * Interface with Host Aviation Resource Management (HARM) personnel to update the Aviation Resource Management System (ARMS) or future equivalent systems to ARMS. * Coordinate with training officer to review and update student/permanent party records, folders and grade books per the applicable AFIs: AFI 11-202V2 and AFI 11-2MDS-V2 as well as associated MAJCOM/Installation supplements, and locally-developed guidance. * Notify crewmembers, scheduling, and unit leadership of upcoming and overdue testing, evaluation, and training requirements via e-mail, telephone or in person. * Generate the following reports/forms: * Provide OGV evaluation and testing status and trend data reports the beginning of every month. * Provide data to OGV for standardization evaluation board (SEB) 6 month report. * AF Form 8, Qualification of Aircrew Qualification. * AF Form 942, Record of Evaluation (RQS only) * Perform testing administrator duties/function for the unit. * Conduct monthly reviews of those aircrews entering into the first month of evaluation eligibility period. * Interpret AFIs and provide guidance and to personnel assigned to Stan/Eval shops to help track training and readiness status of squadron personnel. Qualifications and Experience: Required * Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in a Squadron/Group/Wing Stan/Eval shop or, five (5) years of experience working in a DoD Flying Squadron/Group/Wing Stan/Eval office. * Minimum two (2) years of experience working with PEX or similar proprietary Stan/Eval programs. * Valid Secret Security Clearance.
