Job Overview

Essential Job Duties:

  • Become familiar with clinical trial data and drug development process

  • Develop SAS programs and output to create ADaM and client-defined analysis datasets, tables, listings and graphs.

  • Develop programs for data transfers and assist in their review to ensure the data transfer has been produced to specification

  • Prioritize personal workload to meet specified completion dates

  • Display a positive attitude at all times, promoting and contributing to good team spirit in a professional environment

  • Develop good problem solving skills and a willingness to learn and seek advice from senior Statistical Programming staff

  • Carry out all activities according to Covance SOPs working within the framework of the Quality Management System and to Good Clinical Practice (GCP).

  • Perform other duties as assigned by senior Programming staff


Minimum Required:

  • BSc in a computing, life science, mathematical or statistical subject or attending school to receive a degree

  • Alternative academic qualification or experience are assessed to ensure equivalent background


Minimum Required:

  • 0-6 months programming experience using SAS; Knowledge of fundamental principles of programming and program development

  • Some understanding of the clinical trial process

  • Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize own work

  • Self motivation

  • Good time management skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining the highest standards of work

  • Effective communication skills

  • A cooperative and team oriented approach

With our co-op/intern rotational program, students will work in a different area and at a different GE Aviation site each co-op/intern rotation to ensure optimal learning and diverse work experiences. Essential Responsibilities: Welding Engineering roles in Supply Chain include cycle time reduction, product flow, workstation design and tooling, process improvement, quality, testing, material handling, environmental/health & safety and supplier support related to welding, brazing and heat treatment processes and technologies. Engine Services roles provide the unique experience of working hands-on with the engine components and component repair processes, including welding. Most projects require constant interaction with engineering and customer support staff. Qualifications/Requirements: Must have a minimum of 3.0 GPA (without rounding) Meet required degree of Welding Engineering or Material Science and Engineering major. Attending a full time matriculated and nationally accredited baccalaureate or graduate program Completed one full year of college (rising sophomore) Our positions require access to export controlled information.
