SAP Senior Solutions Architect with Clarkson Eyecare, LLC (Ballwin, MO)

Job Duties: Serve as a functional architect for the company's SAP S/4HANA systems implementation with an emphasis on the SAP FI and CO modules.

Identify and deliver new capabilities as well as solutions strategies to promote design and technical implementation and architect innovative systems solutions. Lead business requirement discussions and work directly with business partners to gather requirements and translate business objectives into appropriate systems solutions while maintaining the integrity of the system in the finance and controlling areas. Conduct fit-gap analysis on project requirements while providing best practice solutions to the business stakeholders.

Develop, guide and document system processes for SAP FI and CO solutions (e.g., general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cost and profit center accounting, internal orders, fixed assets, project systems, product costing and profitability analysis, and month-end closing) in SAP S/4HANA to meet business requirements. Design functional specifications and collaborate with functional analysts to oversee the timely completion and efficiency of development objects, oversee integration testing, and maintain documentation. Provide best practices in business areas on shared support systems implementation at architectural and conceptual levels.

Create architecture and technical design documents to communicate solutions that will be implemented by the technical team. Develop proofs-of-concept and prototypes to help illustrate approaches to technology and business problems. Collaborate with representatives of information technology (IT) and functional areas to ensure end-to-end process integration and consistency.

Develop relationships that will position IT as a trusted business partner. Train end-users on SAP processes in areas such as general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cost and profit center accounting, internal orders, fixed assets, project systems, product costing and profitability analysis, and month-end closing. Identify solution risks and issues to determine technical approaches to effectively address them. Position allows for partial remote work and reports to the company office in Ballwin, MO.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience is required (5 years of progressive, post-Bachelor's experience with a Bachelor's degree or 3 years of experience with a Master's degree). Must have some experience in each of the following skills: Solutions architecture and process flow, specifically integration between the SAP modules and the influence on the SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling (FICO) processes; SAP modules, including Financial Accounting (FI), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), Asset Management, Cash Management, Product Costing, and Management Accounting; SAP S/4HANA Finance and Fiori reports; SAP solutions lifecycle in SAP FICO and SAP FI; and System configuration related to SAP GL, CO (Controlling), AP, AR, Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), Product Costing, Cost Center, Profit Center, Transactional Banking, Procurement, and Payroll.
