Product Marketing Manager, SAP Sales Cloud

CallidusCloud, now part of SAP's Sales Cloud offering, is the global leader in cloud-based sales, marketing, learning, and customer experience solutions. SAP Sales Cloud enables organizations to accelerate and maximize their sales process with a complete suite of solutions that ensure proper territory and quota distribution, manage opportunities and pipeline, enable sales teams, automate configure price quote, streamline sales compensation, and recognize revenue and costs driving bigger deals, faster.

To help support our global growth, SAP is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to join our high-performance marketing team. This role will be responsible for developing go-to-market (GTM) strategies that accelerate sales cycles and drive revenue growth for SAP Sales Cloud products.

The ideal candidate has experience positioning and marketing complex enterprise SaaS solutions, with CRM, CPQ, or other sales applications experience a big plus. As an experienced content creator, this Product Marketing Manager will work closely with sales, product management and marketing leadership to develop and support the GTM strategy, including creating differentiated messaging, value propositions as well as collateral targeted at sales leadership, sales operations, finance and IT decision makers.

Responsibilities

  • Become the product expert; develop hands-on, in-depth knowledge of products

  • Perform thorough market research and competitive analysis to develop differentiated positioning and successfully convey customer and market needs

  • Collaborate with product management, sales, customer success, marketing, and executive stakeholders to lead the successful launch of new products and solutions

  • Develop and create compelling product collateral including white papers, blogs, presentations, solution brochures, data sheets, and website content.

  • Assess customer and prospect requirements and latent needs and translate into industry-specific solutions and persona-based use cases

  • Monitor and analyze market, competitors, and emerging technology trends to provide timely insights to product, sales, and marketing teams

  • Work with demand gen & event marketing to connect campaigns and events to product capabilities and differentiators

  • Build and deliver sales tools and training materials to accelerate sales and articulate market differentiators

  • Develop joint partner solution content and data sheets to demonstrate the joint solution with third party software solutions

  • Drive the engagement of key industry analysts, thought leaders, and market influencers to advance the product with their input and earn their endorsement

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field is required

  • 3+ years of related industry product marketing experience

  • Proven success and familiarity with marketing SaaS enterprise solutions.

  • Proven success with complex sales cycles and targeting multiple stakeholders with differentiated value propositions

  • Excellent writing and communications skills with the ability to create engaging content to be produced through various media channels

  • Excellent verbal communication skills with a strong ability to communicate story ideas at all levels across the organization

  • Strong ability to influence others and work collaboratively with other departments.

  • Strong project management skills
