Project Overview
Close Acceleration Project: The goal of the overall program is to reduce the period-close cycle time by a mix of process improvements and developing additional technical capabilities.
The goal of this specific project is to pull tasks related to product costing process that are performed in spreadsheets into SAP and provide better visibility and reporting capabilities to analyze and report various manufacturing variances.
Sales & Margin Accounting Modernization Project: The goal of this project is to standardize the business process for sales reporting, margin accounting and inter-company eliminations and replace a set of legacy applications with SAP for these processes.

Role Overview
This role will be responsible for design, build and delivery of the profitability analysis solution that meets the above objectives, meets business requirements, is compliant with SLC policies, aligned with the Client template and integrated with other systems. This individual will be responsible for working with business and coordinating with various IT teams and other project teams.

Education and Work Experience
Bachelors degree (preferably in IT, Finance or Business)
15 years or more experience with SAP
2 or more full life cycle SAP project implementations
IT experience at firms with process manufacturing
Hands-on expertise with SAP profitability analysis

Technical Skillsets
SAP FI/CO configuration including in SAP ECC 6
Expertise with CO-PA module
Experience integrating FI/CO with SD, MM and PP/PI modules
Experience integrating CO-PCC with CO-PA sub-module
Experience on a project where CO-PA design and delivery phases are completed including reporting solution
Ability to redesign CO-PA structures and working with SAP OSS for solutions
HANA enabled CO-PA implementation will be a plus
Experience with functional design and coordinating with ABAP development to build custom solutions
Depth and proven track record in specialized area required
Proficient in Microsoft Windows applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Communication & Inter-personal Skills
Proven communication skills; both written and verbal with technical and non-technical staff and all levels of management
Strong collaboration skills and ability to influence
Ability to lead work stream / small project with minimal supervision
Ability to challenge status quo and business partners with correct input

Location and Schedule
Lake County, IL
Resource needs to be onsite
Normal workday is 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST
Local resource preferred

Travel
Some travel may be needed to other business locations (during requirements, UAT or deployment phase)

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Senior SAP Project Manager will provide leadership to execute, manage and coordinate a multitude of inter-related IT project activities globally (enterprise wide IT, US based and International affiliates) within the constraints of human and financial resources and changing priorities to ensure the successful completion of projects.
