Position Responsibilities

Position Summary

The SAP PI Application Lead is responsible for designing, developing or adopting SAP PI technology to meet Lubrizol's requirements. Most often the requirements will surround B2B integrations with customers, suppliers, and third party solution providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing technical solutions for our business customers, including requirements gathering, feasibility and gap analysis, architecture design, implementation, and support.

  • Provides expert advice and counsel to business users and IT project teams regarding PI and integration.

  • Provides support such as troubleshooting application shortcomings and/or performance issues.

  • Adhere to and recommend development standards, naming conventions and industry best practices.

  • Stay knowledgeable of the SAP offerings - including SAP Process Orchestration, S/4HANA, SOAP, REST, etc.

Mentor and lead contract developer resources.

Basic Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline

  • 8+ years in IT

  • 4+ years working with SAP NetWeaver and Process Integration

  • Must be extremely proficient with development, deployment, and support of PI solutions

  • Experience with PI adapters and/or protocols including: HTTP, AS2, FTP, REST, Proxy, RFC, IDOC, SOAP, File, Mail, Web Services, etc

  • Proficient with digital certificates and the use of certificate based authentication

  • Knowledge of Enterprise Services Repository (ESR), Integration Directory (ID), System Landscape (SL), Configuration and Monitoring (CM), Alert and Notification Management

  • Self-starter, ability to work independently

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with B2B and/or EDI solutions

  • Experience with XML, Schemas, ANSI X12 EDI Standard

Knowledge of SAP Process Orchestration (PO) and S/4HANA

VIEW JOBS 8/17/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-11-15T00:00 OVERVIEW Accountable for providing strategic and technical leadership in the development and implementation of the corporation’s process safety programs. This position is responsible for developing and implementing a framework of corporate strategies, policies, standards and initiatives designed to assist the organization in meeting regulatory requirements, building organization competency in process safety and driving continuous improvement.  This is a highly visible position requiring significant interaction with all levels of the organization. This position also provides tactical and technical support.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.   * Lead, develop and support global policies, strategies, and programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and directives. * Lead the corporate initiative of continuous improvement in process safety. * Actively engaged in regional process safety teams with leadership, direction and leveraging best practices across all regions. * Ensure process safety training programs exist, toolkits are available and implemented through the organization to support process safety management. * Build process risk assessment competency throughout the organization. * Assist global sites with assessment, mitigation, and prioritization of process safety risks. * Provide support and guidance for the global process safety audit program, including developing and updating audit protocols, providing appropriate training and mentoring for auditors and conducting audits as necessary. * Lead, facilitate and support the development of technical and/or engineering standards. * Build relationships and influence key stakeholders to work through process safety priorities and ensure alignment. * Monitor new or changing regulations related to process safety; analyze the potential impact to the organization and assist regions and sites with developing strategies for implementation. * Assist in project implementation across all functional areas of HSES as needed.  * Develop and manage initiatives to promote a proactive safety culture. * Ability to travel (global) – approximately 40%.     QUALIFICATIONS   EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE * Bachelor of Science degree or higher in engineering or a related field (Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred). * Minimum 7 years plant experience (experience in process engineering with a broad technical understanding of plant operations is preferred). * Experience implementing various High-Hazard Chemical Management regulations (e.g., OSHA PSM standard, EPA RMP, SEVESO) * Familiarity with Responsible Care®, ISO and other Management System approaches. * Knowledge of and experience in Process Hazard Analysis methodologies. * Understand the concept of Risk Based Process Safety. * Experience in incident investigation, root cause analysis methodologies, Management of Change and its potential impact on process safety, Pre-Start-Up Safety Reviews (PSSR), and Mechanical Integrity.
