As a people manager, you are responsible for supporting the success of not only your direct reports but the success of all employees within the larger team you are a part by helping to identify development opportunities and supporting team members to achieve their goals. The Regional Adoption Director leads a team who defines, develops and executes on strategies for growth, specifically focused on driving a new era of partnering in support of the short, medium and long term strategy and goals. Your role will accelerate our ambition to become the #1 innovation vendor of choice for our ecosystem in the Americas; through the delivery of unrivalled partner experience. You are accountable to ensure the region leverages our innovation, economics and experience strategies; you will co-develop, document, communicate and implement these plans across the full spectrum of partners that work with SAP.

Area 1:

  • Lead a direct and matrix team to identify, evaluate and execute on specific, initiatives that drive partner experience at SAP. Leverage and Integrate with the regional and global SAP teams and processes as appropriate to lead and support the innovation agenda. Provide program governance and oversight, including but not limited to the quality of our deliverables and allocation of resources.

Area 2:

  • Provide leadership as the standard bearer for the SAP PartnerEdge program in the Americas. Build a knowledge and reputation for being the in-house expert on a range of topics that are directly, or neighboring our scope of responsibilities.

    Be responsible for driving syndication and identifying improvement ideas in support of evolving partner business models in a target market. Work with the SAP PartnerEdge leadership to plan, prioritize and implement the ideas in accordance with the PartnerEdge roadmap. Direct efforts to identify and develop new opportunities to grow a target market, including significant new Go-to-Market, emerging market and hybrid solution partnerships. Establish agreements with target market leadership regarding growth goals and performance expectations from existing or new initiatives and/rebates.

Area 3:

  • Build an effective network/community both internally across field sales, LoB, PSD, finance, compliance, development and global teams and externally with significant partners. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop actionable strategies, business cases and implementation plans.

    Support with the define and ramp-up of scalable sales incentive/rebate programs. Create opportunities, focus on the highest value priorities and tactfully manage resistance to change.

Experience & Education

  • Significant international business experience (10+ years), in enterprise software sales, sales enablement industry operations, corporate development.

  • Experience in strategic planning and / or evaluating new business development opportunities in emerging markets preferably in emerging markets.

  • Experience leading teams (direct and indirect).

  • 3-5 years of SAP work experience.

  • Experience in Cloud in the B2B environment.

  • Advanced understanding of SAP, its products and solutions, partners, markets and competition. Strong knowledge of best business practices and financial theory and analysis.

  • Record of building strong customer relationships.

  • Fluency in English, and Spanish or Portuguese, any other language an asset.

  • Fluency in the language of local markets desirable.

  • Understanding of cloud, Hosted Services, and SaaS/ PaaS models, cloud -based commerce/ business networks.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Computer Science required from an accredited university. MBA or advanced degree in related discipline preferred.
