Overview

The SAP OTC Sr. Analyst will report to the Leader- SAP OTC, and will provide support, setup, configuration, customer guidance for all functions related to sales and distribution for LIXIL Americas.

The SAP OTC Sr. Analyst will configure, support and maintain LIXIL Americas pricing within SAP ECC, interview key users from the Sales, Pricing, and Distribution functionalities to define SAP-enabled processes that are in line with business needs and custom develop SAP solution configuration for Materials Management, Production Planning, Finance, and Controlling & Business Warehouse.

He/she will contribute to long-term SAP systems development, assessing and making recommendations to maximize information systems in ways that support short- and long-term business objectives

Responsibilities

  • Experience in Executing software projects in different business sectors.

  • Prepare functional specifications, interface specifications, and perform unit & integration testing.

  • Responsible to work closely with the pricing team to determine optimal process/solutions to issues.

  • Leverage knowledge, resources, and best practices to continuously improve the overall pricing and sales processes.

  • Work with the development team on special business requirements.

  • Translate customer requirements into formal requirements and design documents, establish specific solutions, and leading the efforts including programming and testing that culminate in client acceptance of the results.

  • Research new process enhancements and technologies to determine fit with the business architecture.

  • In-depth functional experience with commerce background knowledge for better business requirement evaluations.

  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of functional and Technical experience and other leading-edge products and technology in conjunction with industry and business skills to deliver solutions to customer.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in technology or business.

  • 5+ years working experience in ECC including configuration and support of the following modules:

  • SD

  • FI

  • CRM

  • MM

  • PP

  • Working knowledge of supporting IDOCs and EDI as they relate to Sales Orders

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in configuring, implementing and supporting SAP Sales & Distribution in the consumer goods industry

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience Mapping of EDI850, EDI810, EDI856 and EDI846; (ii) SAP EDI configuration of IDOC types, message types and custom segments; and (iii) variant configuration models for warehouse management integration, transportation and shipment planning

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience leading blueprint workshops and providing training and user support in SAP

  • Two full lifecycles implementing and supporting Sales and Distribution within SAP.

  • Understanding of S4 HANA processes is mandatory.

  • S4 HANA Certification preferred.

This position is responsible for the engineering & implementation of innovative packaging solutions, collaboratively with Global and Division Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain and Manufacturing. This role will also have broad responsibilities supporting manufacturing operations to drive efficiencies and cost savings. Responsibilities: ✔ Develop packaging materials for the new product launches in the assigned portfolio ensuring defined needs for brand equity, consumer acceptance, manufacturing capability, quality and cost are met from the program brief through design, engineering and commercialization ✔ independently and proactively manage multiple packaging development projects to ensure fastest possible project timing. Feel sole accountability to deliver against initiatives. ✔ Lead the conceptualization, initiation, development and implementation of new and improved packages and processes including: design generation, prototype development, engineering specifications, mold and machinery qualification, functionality and quality testing, and technology transfer. ✔ Design new packaging systems and packaging components to meet defined needs for brand equity aesthetics, consumer acceptance, manufacturing capability, quality and cost are met from the program brief through design, engineering and commercialization ✔ Collaborate with Marketing, Global Design & Packaging, Supply Chain and outside suppliers to identify package technologies that meet key attributes (eg: costs, consumer usage/functionality, manufacturability and compatibility/functionality of materials with product) ✔ Create tooling/package qualification plans, technology transfer documentation (Design History Files) and final package component specifications, Bills of Materials, Manufacturing Specifications, case/cube information cost and savings estimates etc. ✔ Identify cost saving opportunities in his/her area of responsibility and work towards implementation of the same through cross functional collaboration with commercial and operational team members. ✔ Coordinate line trials to ensure package performance for manufacturing. Attend component and manufacturing startups as needed to ensure proper execution of design & function. ✔ Responsible for aspects of project management: project planning, capital expenditure estimates, and technology transfer associated with projects. Manage flow of information, and communicate project timelines, costs, and associated risks. ✔ Write and present technical summaries and business impact to functional leaders, both technical and non-technical personnel. ✔ Design package testing procedures to support the effective design, qualification, validation, and implementation of new package systems and packaging technology. ✔ Partner with plant engineering to ensure that packaging equipment/material system specifications, functionality and design are appropriate for use.
