Position Summary

The SAP Analyst position analyzes issues and develops and implements solutions for the Teleflex organization as part of the Global SAP Support Team. The incumbent in this position is expected to be a primary contributor in issue resolution and proactive solution development and may manage complex projects.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Manage the development/configuration and maintenance of SAP PP, MM Modules system by conducting meetings with users to determine system requirements.

  • Implement, install, and manage SAP PP, MM solutions across the organization.

  • Apply technical knowledge to all phases of systems analysis and consider the business implications of the application to the current and future business environment.

  • Develop detailed system design documents to support system requirements and comply with Teleflex standards.

  • Conduct functional and/or technical reviews and walk-through of IT design documentation with the development and design team members.

  • Assist in investigation of new systems and planning of upgrades.

  • Ensure maintenance of documentation and change control.

  • Participate in architectural decisions and provide input to management.

  • Act as expert support on business processes in respective area of responsibility.

  • Evaluate, develop, test, and implement the release of system changes according to the Teleflex validation procedures.

  • Deliver consistently high-quality service and solutions that meet business requirements and ensure goals are accomplished in line with business objectives.

  • Provide day to day support of SAP PP, MM user community

  • Recognize, analyze, and solve system or applications problems as they are encountered.

  • Lead projects and rollouts of the application (either on full-time or part-time basis).

  • Share ideas, information, knowledge, and data proactively to accomplish collaboration for the success of the team, project, or task.

Education / Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in technical field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, or Mechanical Engineering. A combination of education and super-user experience with SAP PP, MM may be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • Minimum 5 years SAP PP, MM configuration and super-user experience.

  • Participation in one or more SAP PP, MM implementations or other large-scale projects required.

  • Experience in a FDA regulated environment preferred.

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

  • Knowledge in SAP PP, MM Administration tasks such as roles, creation of procedures, and work instructions.

  • Experience designing and configuring SAP PP, MM to incorporate new regulatory compliance business processes.

  • Knowledge of SAP PM, WM, SD modules.

  • Knowledge of interfaces to SAP, particularly familiarity with B2B.

  • Knowledge of Master data objects such as Vendor Master, Material Master, Purchase Information Records, Source Lists, Bills of Materials, and Routings.

  • Strong background in troubleshooting application errors and performance related issues

  • Excellent communication (oral and written), negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and under pressure and to manage multiple concurrent tasks and responsibilities while dealing with changing priorities.

  • Must be able to work effectively with cross-functional groups and a geographically dispersed user base.

  • Ability to work in a virtual environment.

VIEW JOBS 4/19/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-07-18T00:00 Job Summary: The Payroll Analyst is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the Payroll database and ensuring it matches to the company system of record in HR. This position is responsible to provide custom reporting to Payroll and other functional areas including; HR, Benefits, Corporate Tax and Finance as needed. This role serves as a liaison between Payroll and other Business Technology Departments, including the technical teams for Peoplesoft and Oracle. This position will support cross functional business analysis for process improvements. Key Job Responsibilities: (Duties may include, but not limited to all or some of the following) * Create and distribute established PeopleSoft 9.2 and ADP reports as requested and scheduled. * Create Ad-hoc reports as requested from the Peoplesoft 9.2 and ADP Databases supporting employee payroll data. * Manage upload process supporting time and labor data into multiple ADP. Manage and facilitate weekly audit process to identify late time entry not captured in previous uploads. * Manage weekly system comparison audit between HRIS system (PeopleSoft) and ADP Payforce. Ensure accuracy of employee data, identify and lead system corrections as needed. * Act as Liaison / Project Manager between Payroll and Business Technology partners in order to resolve information issues, implement process changes, and correct any incompatibility problems between interfacing systems. * Run the ADP connection interface to facilitate employee data updates from HR. Review fallouts and facilitate for process improvement opportunities. * Process mass updates in Payforce via import, to maintain employee data and system tables. * Lead testing efforts that impact payroll systems and data. * Identify and Flag HR & Benefit data integrity issues for review. Work with team and management to support updates and corrections. * Provide support on cross functional projects as needed. * Provide solutions for the automation of various Payroll processes and procedures. Lead process improvement initiatives for Payroll team Education Required: * BA/BS degree or equivalent experience Skills Required: * Microsoft Office proficiency. * Microsoft Excel Expertise. * Strong interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of employees in various pay-related situations. * 1 – 3 years HRIS/Payroll experience with emphasis on system administration. * Knowledge of Reporting from PeopleSoft 9.2, and ADP PayForce preferred. * Experience working/troubleshooting in system test environments Disclaimer: Tasks, duties, and responsibilities as listed in this job description are not exhaustive.
