The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $65-140,000/yr at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

Kion SCS is looking for a SAP MM Purchasing Specialist responsible for configuration changes, enhancements on SAP Systems in our NA region. As the MM Purchasing Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work on the Business Transformation project for KION SCS and support the SAP applications.

Essential Role and Responsibilities

To be successful in this demanding role, your proven track record will enable you to deliver against the following key performance areas:

• Responsible for implementing part or all of the solution to the client, in accordance with an agreed Functional design

• Work on roll-out and implementation of new business applications and functionality specifically within the SAP MM and purchasing space

• Responsible for successful implementation of SAP, including providing functional expertise, guidance, presentation, and instruction on SAP products to clients

• Knowledge and experience of intercompany processes in SAP

• Design and implement core functionalities of SAP MM including screen controls

• Facilitates the gathering of requirements, designing, implementing and supporting SAP Materials Management to enhance the clients' business functionality and performance

• Configure the SAP system in the areas of MM to meet the requirements collected during blueprinting work sessions

• Participates in meetings and build trust with internal business customers, understand business objectives and seeks alignment

• Engage with Key Users and Business partners to identify and validate requirements and translate to solution design

• Analyzes and develops functional specifications and communicates to technical developers in order to develop the required solutions in the most efficient way

• Monitor and present periodic status to stakeholders

• Monitor Risks / Issues and prepare appropriate mitigation plans

• Ensure best practices are followed and required processes and specifications are documented

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in SAP MM & Purchasing Module required

• Should have experience working in at least 2 S/4HANA Implementation projects

• Strong functional knowledge on the SAP ERP MM, and overall SAP functional knowledge (integration with other components / modules) required

• Working experience on scheduling agreements in SAP MM- Purchasing component

• Knowledge of principle MM processes (MRP, purchase and transition orders processing, stock-taking, inventory management)

• Knowledge of LE processes (outbound deliveries processing, upload/download IDOC material flows from external systems, transportation planning, freight costs calculation)

• Understanding the integration with various SAP modules like MM,QM, CO, PP, PM, WM, SD and FI

• Should be able to write functional specs and work with technical team on enhancements, user exits

• Will be required to prepare instruction manuals and training material for end user training

• Should have experience and should be able to give solutions for business requirements and guide the team on data migration

• Should have experience preparing data migration templates

• Should have experience in data extracting, cleansing, and uploading the data.

• Should have good experience in working with global teams

• Ability to conduct/lead oral status/technical interchange meetings with clients on small to medium sized engagements

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, Strategic thinking and thought leadership capabilities; ability to institutionalize new tools, processes, and technologies

• Knowledge of implementation project life cycles including blueprinting, configuration, testing, cut-over and go-live support

• Proficient using Project Management tools (JIRA), preparing and presenting appropriate status reports

Education & Experience

• 8+ years of relevant work experience required

• Bachelor's Degree or higher
