Job Description:
Our global life sciences client is in need of a business analyst to support upcoming continuous improvement initiatives.
This BA will be responsible for meeting with business personnel to gather and document requirements.
Additionally, this person will provide input to the design of the proposed solution and will be the primary interface between the business and IT/build team.
Must have experiencewith Production Planning, Materials Mgt., & Quality Mgt.
Experience with electronic device history recordsis a big plus.
EDHR is a big plus

What you get to do in this role: This role's primary responsibility is to work collaboratively with the carrier, IT Services, Sourcing and Accounts payable teams to provision new voice and data circuits at ServiceNow Corporate sites and manage Public Cloud spend. Primary roles and responsibilities for this role are as follows: Circuit Management: * Serve as the main point-of-contact for all carriers that provide services. * Partner with the Sourcing and IT networking teams to own and manage the global circuit lifecycle roadmap. * Work with carriers to manage all types of circuits used by ServiceNow. This includes Internet access circuits, Metro Ethernet and MPLS. * Knowledge of telecom services, including knowledge on wireline local voice, Long Distance and Toll-Free routing. * Work with the vendor management team to provide data and run Quarterly Business Reviews with carriers and help evaluate new carriers as needed. * Own, manage, and communicate all aspects of the provisioning process including placing the order, generating POs, getting FOC dates, and working with the teams to connecting the circuit. * Track all circuits globally using our circuit management database. Regularly audit and provide reports around all owned circuits. * Meet regularly with IT, AP and Sourcing stakeholders to discuss circuit contract dates and planned upgrades or de-commissions. * Meet regularly with Workplace services project team to plan for the network design/deployment for new office builds and upgrades. * Manage multiple projects and work closely with Workplace services and IT Network teams to ensure network and telecom circuits are correctly provisioned and maintained. * Work with the networking teams to continually increase quality while decreasing costs. Cloud Cost management: * Work with the IT Cloud Services team and the business stakeholders to manage various public cloud subscriptions. * Continually monitor public cloud subscriptions to manage utilization while decreasing costs. * Develop process to automate usage-based monitoring and alerting on public clouds. * Use analytical tools/platforms like PowerBI, Cloudyn, NOW Cloud Management to create dashboards to give visibility on public cloud consumption to various internal stakeholders. Example first 6-month deliverables: * Perform an audit of all existing circuits and validate against billing data. * Perform an audit of all existing Public cloud contracts and consumption. * Become familiar with various cloud management tools and internal AP processes. * Become familiar with both networking teams' roadmap for new locations. * Review all existing locations and services and suggest areas for improvement. * Ensure in-flight orders are delivered in a timely manner. In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has: Desired Skills The candidate should have a background in global circuit provisioning and working with diverse carriers, as well understanding on Public Cloud management. The following is a list of requirements for this role: * A minimum of 5 years of experience is working on Internet, Metro Ethernet, and MPLS circuit provisioning. * Degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience. Management experience and success with delivering projects on-time, within budget, and in scope. * Demonstrated skill in writing and editing process maps, technical specifications, and other documentation for internal publication. * Telecom knowledge including VOIP / SIP. * Good knowledge on Azure, AWS and GCP services and management platforms. * Fair knowledge on NOW platform is a plus. * Ability to successfully negotiate cost structures and executing master service agreements. * Experience with researching and presenting recommendations around global connectivity carriers, options, and regulations. * Prior network engineering knowledge a huge plus.
