What you'll do

Position title: SAP iXp Intern - Global Security & Cloud Compliance Communications

Expected start date: June 2024

Location: Hybrid

Hybrid work set up: 3 days a week

Working hours: Full time (40 hrs./week)

Content Management (with oversight from Comms Leads)

• Manage and update internal SharePoint websites

• Manage the unit's internal employee news blog including monitoring and merging newsletters, editing, and posting articles, tracking metrics, creating, and sending one consolidated security newsletter to the entire division, and creating a promotion plan to increase awareness of security

• Managed MediaShare Website for internal SAP team including restructuring of site for friendlier use

General Communications

• Research topics & draft articles, blogs, and social media posts

• Design /manage templates for email, signatures, banners for events, etc. according to branding guidelines

• Support video production and/or working with video producers

• Support internal events including creating invitations, registration, follow-up emails, and promotion via different channels

Requirements

• High-level professionalism with attention to detail and quality

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Sharepoint, and Teams

• Excellent writing skills

• Video production skills a plus

• Ability to work autonomously (plan, prioritize, organize work effectively and efficiently)

• Solution-oriented work style, proactive in communicating with others (e.g. sets up meetings, provides project status, problem-solving)

• Eager to learn with a passion for Communications

Educational requirements

• Candidates must be enrolled in a University

• Preferred fields of study: Media, Communications, Journalism, English Literature or related fields

Meet your team:

This position is remote and the chosen candidate will work with two communications professionals based in Northern California and Germany. We are seasoned, with a combined amount of experience in communications spanning over 4 decades.

Our global division is dedicated to protecting SAP and our customers from cybercrime and is led by two co-leaders, our Chief Security Officer and Chief Compliance and Risk Officer.

The chosen candidate will gain on-the-ground experience and learn a lot about communications while working in a fast-paced environment dedicated to ensuring SAP remains a trusted brand.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity.

SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 15-62 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process.
