This role plays a critical part in planning and delivery within Ocean Spray's technology transformation journey acting as the IT Workstream lead in the Connected Planning / Plan-to-Make pillar. This is an exciting time to join at the start of our journey, providing the candidate the opportunity to blueprint and drive change from birth to nurturing in a Greenfield Implementation of SAP S/4 HANA and SAP IBP. The IT, SAP IBP/PP Lead will have a deep understanding of the end-to-end Connected Planning & Plan-to-Make processes which are critical to our business operations. Leveraging this knowledge and in partnership with the Connected Planning Business Workstream Lead, the IT SAP IBP/PP Lead will be responsible for the design, development and deployment of an optimized, integrated, automated solution. They work closely with their fellow SAP IT Leads, Business Workstream Leads, and System Integrators across business processes, technology (including development and integration), deployment, data, security & controls, testing and organizational change management to deliver an improved and fully integrated solution to the organization.
Post-transformation, this role will be the Connected Planning / Plan-to-Make Functional Lead and a critical component of our SAP COE, working with key business stakeholders and product teams to prioritize and deliver enhancements & projects that provide value to the cooperative, while ensuring operational health of our core planning system. You will be adept and come with a Product mindset in architecture, engineering and importantly with enabling the continuous flow of value through interactive improvements to process and design.
A Day in the Life...
IT SAP IBP/PP Lead Responsibilities:
As an integral and respected leader within the IT transformation Program Team, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Co-Develop SAP IBP and SAP PP workstream plan
Co-Leads workstream design efforts
Collaborates with other solution integration and business leads, for example Order-To-Cash, to ensure end-to-end processes are appropriately designed and supported by technology
Provide input and oversight of design/build cycles plan
Co-Facilitates workstream status meetings, daily stand-up meetings, design/build reviews/retrospectives and participate in cross workstream meetings
Identify and document business requirements/user stories
Provide input to Cutover Plan
Co-Lead and assist in execution of Test Plan and defect identification & resolution
Assist in design of future-state business processes
Perform cross-module, end-to-end process integration
Support change management team in understanding impacts of system and process changes
Review and provide input to training and communications content
Contribute to the standardization of reports, processes, and data definitions/attributes
Work with conversion team to provide direction for data cleansing and validation
Co-manages workload & tracks capacity of supporting SAP Functional Analysts
Technical Skills/Responsibilities:
Partner with our business to adapt to industry best practices for following planning related areas - demand, supply, inventory, S&OP, financials, production
Be the primary functional contact and technology business partner to our Commercial Leader, US and International business across a number of stakeholders in Supply Chain and Finance business leadership teams to define and deliver Connected Planning and Plan-to-Make capabilities required to enable the business strategy
Be the single point of contact for our SAP IBP & SAP PP solutions across product vendor, external technology providers / system integrators, business teams and internal IT teams
Lead all Product Management aspects of the SDLC, including requirement gathering, solution definition, build, testing, deployment, and support
Lead all integration aspects with existing and new ERP core (SAP S4, and other non-SAP applications, and analytics tools).
Collaborate within the internal IT organization to deliver quality solutions, on time
Drive process and solution standardization
Effectively analyze business process changes and change impact, and work with business stakeholders to manage through that change
Oversee production support and act as point of escalation for critical break/fix issues within SAP IBP and SAP PP
What We Are Looking For:
5+ years of hands-on, solution leadership and implementation experience in SAP planning and manufacturing related solutions, preferred experience with SAP IBP, SAP APO and / or SAP/S4 (PP)
3+ years of experience in a Manufacturing environment
Industry experience within CPG highly preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders to adopt industry best practices in terms of business processes and technology solutions
Strong business acumen within an enterprise planning function, manufacturing function and / or other supply chain execution functions, including transportation planning, manufacturing planning, and warehouse management
Strong research, data analysis, and problem visualization skills
Ability to collaborate with multiple teams effectively
Ability to travel up to 15% to our supply facilities
Education:
Bachelor's or University Degree (Required)
