MAU is hiring an SAP Functional Programmer/Business Specialist at our client in Greer, SC. As an SAP Functional Programmer/Business Specialist, your primary responsibility is to orchestrate and spearhead the technical and functional development as well as support for SAP IT applications within your designated area of responsibility. This encompasses Warehouse Management, Yard Management, Quality Management, Plant Maintenance, and/or Inbound Logistics. This is a contract, long-term assignment.
As the SAP Functional Programmer/Business Specialist, you will manage the full systems development lifecycle of projects and programs within your area of responsibility. Your role involves strategizing, designing, executing, and overseeing the deployment of effective IT systems to bolster the operations of the assigned organizational domains. Utilizing your adept communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, you'll play a pivotal role in identifying, articulating, and resolving system-related challenges to optimize the returns on IT investments.

Project Management training
Training in systems used in area of responsibility
Essential Functions
Perform planning, analysis, designing, requirements definition, functional design, development, testing, and implementation of IT solutions
Provide support for difficult and complex systems environments
Provide support, assistance, and training to users
Coordinate activities simultaneously for multiple projects
Use ITPM Agile methodology effectively when performing all tasks
Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve business systems issues
Ensure compatibility and interoperability of in-house computing systems
Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems
Create systems models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to application developers
Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems
Conduct research on software products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts
Perform other tasks as assigned
Work Environment or Working Conditions
Normal office working conditions using desktop computer
Operates computers for normal software work
Work in manufacturing area occasionally
Wear necessary protective equipment when working or walking through production area
