This position will play an integral role in the management and oversight of SAP Financial System projects. It is aligned to support the ongoing needs of the Business Accounting/Finance and IT organization through the integration of SAP S/4 HANA as a cross-functional team member. It requires a strong background in leading SAP or other Financial related projects through planning and implementation by coordinating activities amongst internal team members, system integration partners and other teams to successfully meet project objectives and due dates.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for project oversight, discovery, planning and implementation activities for SAP Financial System related projects

  • Oversee resource requirements needed to meet the demands of project deadlines

  • Plan, direct and coordinate

  • Provide oversight and direction to project team members on necessary activities

  • Facilitate the delivery of projects on time and within budget

  • Ability to travel as needed

Knowledge/Experience/Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance and/or Information Technology

  • Five years of Project Management or Project Leadership experience for Finance or SAP related projects

  • Must have the ability to manage agile and non-agile projects

  • Must have a strong functional knowledge of SAP and related financial systems

  • Must be organized, detail oriented, and possess strong problem-solving, planning and analytical skills

  • Must have strong verbal, written and presentation skills

  • Must have strong management and leadership skills

  • Must have experience managing relationships with internal and external business customers

  • Must be flexible and able to adjust to changing priorities

  • Strong track record of on-time, on-budget and to-specification delivery of projects

Desired Skills/Ability:

  • Prior SAP Implementation experience related to FICO or related Financial modules is strongly preferred

  • Acquisition Integration experience is a plus

  • Insurance accounting experience is a plus
