Title: Manager of Enablement Services

Location: Global, Chicago preferred

The mission of Learning Services is to help accelerate the success of customers and employees with the functional knowledge needed to implement and expand use of SAP Fieldglass solutions. This is executed by delivering innovative and top-quality training and enablement programs, closely aligned to SAP and SAP Fieldglass strategy and business priorities. We keep the goals of impacting revenue, improving profitability and growing employee engagement top of mind in everything we do.

As a Manager of Learning Services your role drives regional enablement programs and activities for with the understanding 80% of learning needs are global and shared across customers and employees. We rely on a blend of offerings including resources, in-person instructor led, virtual instructor led, and eLearning. Key elements are definition, alignment and execution of a high-quality and high-impact learning journey to satisfy needs of customer and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership

  • Evaluate the performance of learning offerings, team, and individuals

  • Maintain a culture of praise by celebrating team and individual success

  • Proactively manage performance gaps and encourage innovative solution finding, delegating responsibilities and creating visibility for talents

  • Drive self-improvement plans with team; ensuring a growth mindset

  • Manage and coach team members in support of defined vision, strategy and goals

  • Actively and creatively support the strong sense of team and collaborative working style

  • Follow SAP leadership principles and HR guidelines. Recruit, develop, and retain talent. Set clear objectives and coach for collective success

General

  • Drive the Learning Services vision and strategy to plan, design, develop, deliver, and improve the global employee and customer learning journey programs in partnership with team members, leadership and stakeholders

  • Collaborate with team, experts, leadership, and stakeholders to define global learning journeys and lead overall creation and delivery of global enablement programs in support of SAP Fieldglass products

  • Provide thought leadership in collaborating with stakeholders establishing accountability by managers to create a consistent and ongoing learning culture within their teams

  • Align with stakeholders across all levels of the hierarchy and gain executive endorsement and commitment for defined initiatives

  • Consistently evolve offerings by soliciting and acting upon learner and stakeholder feedback as well as learning theory innovations

  • Coach subject matter expert presenters on effective presentation techniques to maximize learner engagement and retention

  • Facilitate course delivery for in-person and virtual offerings

  • Foster standardization across regions and teams. Challenge status quo in organizational set-up, coverage, processes, automation and services within and beyond your organization, consistently looking for simplification. Be a change agent that positively influences, empowers, and executes the necessary transformation

  • Innovate to provide an engaging customer learning experience. Accelerate improvements and optimize execution through organizational alignment towards customer needs.

Qualifications

  • Strong sense of urgency, excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem solving to drive initiatives forward successfully achieving defined goals. Instills these traits with team members.

  • 10+ years of work experience within an international cloud software company

  • 5+ years in enablement and learning roles of progressive responsibility and complexity

  • Demonstrated ability to lead with empathy, develop impactful relationships, and motivate a team

  • Excellent planning skills combined with high reliability

  • Expert skills with MS Office 365 plus learning & content technologies

  • Easily communicates with all organization levels from senior executives to individual contributors

  • Ability to design, prepare, and deliver engaging presentations to a range of organization levels

  • Self-motivated personality who takes proactive initiative, requiring minimal oversight

  • Demonstrates executive presence inspiring adoption of programs and making successes visible

  • Ability to effectively operate in a fast paced, constantly evolving environment

  • Embraces outside-in perspective and thought leadership as critical to personal and team growth

  • Thought leadership on latest learning & development research, concepts and technologies

  • Demonstration of cultural competence and How We Run attitudes

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year College or University in a related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Several years proven track record in management / leadership positions

  • Knowledge of External Workforce Management programs, processes, and applications

  • Master's degree in Organizational Learning or Leadership or related field

  • Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP)
