Concur is seeking a dynamic and innovative field sales professional to prospect and sell directly to Mid-Market companies (100-499 employees) via the telephone, internet presentations, and face-to-face meetings in a defined geographic territory. The Regional Sales Executive will be responsible for the entire sales cycle from prospecting through booked sale. The Regional Sales Executive, Mid-Market reports to the Regional Sales Director, Mid-Market and is a mid-level outside sales role.
In this role you will
Achieve sales objectives through sales to new customers.
Identify sales opportunities through direct prospecting, lead follow up, networking and partner relationships.
Manage sales process through qualification, needs analysis, product demonstration, negotiation, and close.
Collaborate with pre-sales team and other cross-functional partners when technical or product support is required.
Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge of Concur's products and services.
Serve as the CEO of your territory and maintain a solid knowledge of marketplace, competitive offerings, and other business issues relevant to the position.
Foster relationships with Concur partners and other third parties to increase opportunities.
Be an active team player both on the sales team and throughout Concur to help achieve wider company objectives.
Provide feedback and expert insight to internal cross-functional teams with regard to product, selling, competitive, etc. matters.

You will bring...
5-7+ years of successful B2B sales experience with a strong emphasis on acquiring net- new customers and logos
Experience selling to "C" level Executives
Documented success achieving and exceeding assigned quotas
A consultative, solution- based sales methodology
Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check
Creative problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on persuasion and influence
Strong business acumen
Excellent PC and Internet skills, including experience using Microsoft Office, Outlook, Salesforce automation tools and web presentation applications (Webex, Placeware, etc.)
A willingness to travel up to 30% of the time
