About Your Business Area/Department :

• Be responsible for leading the Revenue, billing & incentives process for Amadeus within our policies to safeguard and maximize company revenues.

We are looking for a Billing Analyst for our Billing & incentives area in Financial Service Center de Bogota, and in this role, you'll be responsible for leading the Revenue, billing & incentives process for Amadeus within our policies to safeguard and maximize Americas revenues.

In this role you'll:

• Has the required technical/functional knowledge and experience in own discipline and learning on the fly skills to understand Amadeus business and how it is related to own area.

• Works using existing procedures or guidelines and provides inputs to support/influence area decisions. Makes recommendations on new solutions and proposes improvements by analyzing different sources of information.

• Works with a moderate level of guidance and direction from manager.

• Define, review, and validate requirements for billing in the Americas region.

• Ensure proper billing set-up in SAP, control files and any other additional billing platform.

• Control and monitor billing of Amadeus Services & Consulting to ensure correct billing or crediting to Amadeus customers.

• Define, review, and validate requirements for reporting in tools such as SAP, Power BI, Qlik.

• Produce billing reports monitoring to increase operational efficiency and provide revenue visibility to the Finance teams and leadership.

• Identify invoicing deviations (discounts, waivers, contractual status...) and obtain proper level of approval.

• Ensure proper revenue recognition adjustments by applying IFRS (Deferred -Revenue, IFRS 15, Accruals).

• Guarantee the completion of end of month activities related to Billing and incentives department.

• Respond to clients' ad-hoc requests regarding billing or revenue management.

About the ideal candidate:

You are a business administrator/Accountant or have 2 or more years of experience in Finance areas.

Have good accounting principles understanding.

You speak Spanish, and English at the business level Portuguese is a major plus.

You are proficient in using Microsoft Office tools: Excel, Power BI, Access, and Power Point.

You have knowledge of the SAP SD and FI modules.

You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and highly developed interpersonal, and communications skills to interface with various levels of management.
