SAP Basis Integration Architect

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Basis Specialist with expertise in data transformation using SAP SLT (SAP Landscape Transformation) and BODS (SAP Business Objects Data Services) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP Basis administration and a proven track record of implementing and optimizing data transformation processes within SAP environments. This position reports to the Manager, Technical Middleware Services and will work as part of a larger team responsible for advising on architectural, technical and business-impacting issues, as well as leading projects and day-to-day support of all SAP components.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems, including SAP SLT and BODS components.

• Design, develop, and implement data transformation solutions using SAP SLT to meet business requirements.

• Monitor and troubleshoot data replication and transformation processes, ensuring data integrity and performance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data transformation requirements and provide technical expertise and guidance.

• Perform system upgrades, patches, and enhancements related to SAP SLT and BOD environments.

• Develop and maintain documentation for data transformation processes, procedures, and best practices.

• Stay current with SAP technologies and industry trends, continuously improving data transformation capabilities and processes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in SAP Basis administration, with a focus on data transformation using SAP SLT and BODS.

• SAP certifications such as SAP Certified Application Associate or SAP Certified Technology.

• Associate are preferred.

• Experience managing complex business and technical relationships.

• Experience leading by example in a large, complex multi-system environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business Administration preferred.

• Strong understanding of SAP architecture, landscape, and security concepts.

• Proficiency in SAP SLT configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

• Experience with SAP BODS, including job design, data quality management, and integration with SAP and non-SAP systems.

• Expert in SAP technologies, including SAP ECC, SAP S/4, SAP BTP, Fiori, HANA, SLT, and SAP Solution Manager.

• Knowledge of SAP HANA database administration and performance tuning is a plus.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Experience with cloud-based SAP solutions (e.g., SAP Cloud Platform) is a plus.

• Deep knowledge of SAP HANA in-Memory Platform core technology, including architecture, landscape design, installation, upgrade, performance tuning and system integration.

• SLT performance optimization concepts (Reading type, master job).

• Experience in all scenario: ODP, Table based, Application based with S/4 HANA system for both.

• SAP and Non-SAP systems.
