We are an international manufacturing firm with a United States presence in the Pittsburgh area. We are implementing SAP S4/HANA to our factories nationwide. As we start rolling out implementation, we are in need of a SAP BASIS Administrator who knows S4/HANA . This role is a real "hands on" role . The technical operation efforts and basis support are delivered in strong collaboration between SAP team and SAP cloud operation team. This role grants various opportunity to support and deliver technical solutions in SAP systems, possibility to work together with integration experts, functional consultants and cooperate with our service providers representatives.
What You Will Be Doing
Ensure the technical aspects of SAP solution are in line with best practices (printer management, integrations, batch queue management, transport management)
Working on issues as per business priorities
Act as owner of the technical landscape counterpart of the SAP Technical Landscape Owner
Ensure the SAP installation meets compliance requirements (Security, Authorization, Change management)
Act as hands-on System administrator (system monitoring, transport, environment management)
Execute technical issue troubleshooting and resolution involving and driving SAP support
Participate in project support like SAP implementation, upgrade, migration rollout
Work together with FI, MM, SD, functional consultants, integration experts and ABAP developers
Lead technical issue troubleshooting and resolution
Support SAP Cloud Operation lead for achieving the SLA and KPIs target
Align with SAP on outages and security notes implementations
Attend on scheduled service calls and reviews with service providers
What You Need for this Position
5+ years experience in SAP Basis Administrator role
Degree or equivalent experience in IT services preferable in IT Service provider area
SAP Technical certificate or equivalent experience in SAP Basis
Fluency spoken and written English
Experience with remote/dotted line management of staff in multiple countries
Ability to plan, execute and deliver ITIL support processes within a Service desk environment for a global ERP environment.
Technical Change Management experience as part of Shared Services, Service Management environment.
ITIL based process experience.
Demonstrable deep understanding of Service desk and supporting ITIL Service Management processes
