Salary Range: $83,000-$115,000 Annual Salary Range
OBJECTIVE (POSITION SUMMARY)
The SAP Basis Administrator will oversee the administration and technical support of our SAP environment. This role will be responsible for the management, maintenance, and optimization of SAP systems, ensuring their availability, reliability, and performance. The SAP Basis Manager will collaborate with Technology and business teams to implement and support SAP projects and initiatives.
In this position, the SAP Basis Administrator is responsible for:
System Administration: Manage and support the SAP landscape, including installation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of SAP systems (ERP, TM, EM, etc.) currently operating in Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance and implement tuning measures to ensure optimal operation and response times.
Upgrades and Patch Management: Plan and execute SAP system upgrades, patches, and enhancement packs to keep the environment up-to-date and secure.
Security Management: Implement and maintain SAP security policies, including user administration, role assignments, and compliance with data security standards.
Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures, ensuring regular backups and recovery testing.
Collaboration: Work closely with other Technology teams (network, database, application) and business stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and support of SAP systems.
Project Management: Lead and participate in SAP-related projects, providing technical expertise and ensuring timely delivery.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of SAP system configurations, procedures, and best practices.
Vendor Management: Liaise with SAP and third-party vendors for support, licensing, and procurement activities.

Technical Skills:
Proficient in SAP system installation, configuration, and maintenance.
Strong knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA, SAP Fiori, and other SAP technologies.
Experience with database administration (SQL Server, HANA).
Understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix).
Knowledge of SAP security and authorization concepts.
