Responsible for the evaluation, analysis and design of large scale ERP solutions, including global systems in a mixed environment. Responsible for planning and implementing the enterprise SAP systems and architecture while ensuring high levels of data quality and availability. Develop, implement, and oversee policies and procedures to ensure consistent system provisioning and uptime. Perform proactive capacity planning while communicating trends and/or exceptions to management. Provide technical leadership, guidance and training to ERP skilled employees based on strategic initiatives.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required

  • Strong working knowledge required of SAP modules and systems

  • Strong working knowledge of the enterprise architecure of systems and hardware platforms.

  • Experience with design (blueprinting) and developing conceptual, logical, and technical architecture models.

  • Administration of multiple SAP systems

  • Administration of mulitple SAP environments, hardware and operating systems.

  • Produce monthly reports specific to ERP systems performance.

  • Interact with application, platform, infrastructure and database teams to define requirements, plans and deliverables.

  • Monitor performance and analyze capacity planning statistics.

  • Accurate estimation for effort and resources required for projects.

  • Evaluate new ERP technologies compatible with the company's existing environment.

Qualifications, Required Knowledge Skills & Abilities and Working Conditions

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a scientific field OR ten or more years of experience in design and implementation of ERP/SAP Technologies

  • At least seven years of experience performing ERP (SAP) systems design, implementation, troubleshooting, and management across heterogeneous environments.

  • EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) experience desired

  • Experience working for an global enterprise environment and capable of systems and services globally.

  • Able to create and conduct formal presentations and design and develop sophisticated models for related area of responsibility.

  • Able to design applications using new or existing methodologies and assimilate research data from a variety of sources, analyze, and recommend appropriate courses of action to take.

  • Able to adjust readily to change and adapt as needed.

  • Able to exhibit a strong level of vigor, intensity, competitiveness, endurance & display assertiveness and a high level of self-confidence.

  • Able to express ideas clearly and convey necessary information.

Facilitates prompt resolution for issues that might delay order processing. Receives and processes information via email, phone, SAP and IPS. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required * Releases, maintains, modifies, re-creates and cancels order line items, with customer approval, to ensure accurate integration order processing. Works closely with internal departments to meet customers integration requirements. * Creates and monitors transfer and inter-company orders to fulfill integration order product demands by obtaining product ETA's and analyzing product availability within the Tech Data network to ensure minimal risk and freight cost. * Performs final review of integration order prior to production status and analyzes center capacity. * Responsible for product inventory management for end-user customer projects to meet production schedules. * Responsible for implementing total end-user customer project requirements including coordination of work instruction request forms, sku creation, integration order creation and product inventory management. * Researches and resolves order issues. * Monitors and updates all assigned orders and communicates order status to customer. * Develops a rapport with assigned customer accounts to establish strong lines of communication. * Educates customers and Sales on integration order processing requirements. * Records order issues and performance metrics in databases to track order errors and productivity measurements. * Performs additional duties as assigned * Meets attendance and punctuality standards Qualifications, Required Knowledge Skills & Abilities and Working Conditions Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is preferred.
