Cognizant Technology Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled SAP S4 ABAP Finance Technical Architect who will be catering to the North America customers and involves supporting proactive and reactive business opportunities such as managed services and transformation. The individual will be closely working with our onsite sales / delivery teams, and participate in solution discussions, and workshops.

We are seeking a Sr. Technology Architect to join our team as a Sr. Manager

• Projects. They will have extensive expertise in SAP HANA technologies and a solid background in SAP Finance. This role involves leading sophisticated projects ensuring detailed integration and driving innovation to improve our technological capabilities.

Role Summary:

• Technical Architect with expertise spanning integration, improvements, reports, conversions and forms within SAP landscape

• Understands business requirements and design technical solutions to meet the business objectives

• Take ultimate accountability and oversight for driving overall SAP technical solutions from business idea to implementation

• Play a key role in design reviews, identify gaps and recommend changes. Drive modernization keeping in mind complexity of the landscape.

• Support the development team with the design and development guidance

• Guide the engineering team to develop, configure and implement the solution as per the development strategy

• Perform review of the technical team's work and ensure standards are adhered to in accordance with SAP's leading practices

• Ensure technical integrity of projects, making sure that common technical objects are leveraged, and the work is not duplicated

• Work with and lead the QA team on the design of test plans, test cases and on automation

• Participate in the project roadmap and strategy definition.

• Support the creation of training and solution documentation

• Hold self and others accountable to the committed deadlines and ensure successful and quality work

Role Qualifications:

• BS Degree in computer science or engineering or higher with 10+ years of work experience in SAP product consulting, systems integration, or architect role

• Must have excellent expertise in SAP ABAP development hands on experience with very good functional understanding of SAP S/4HANA modules such as FI, P2P, OTC and MM

• Must have extensive development experience in S/4HANA using ABAP objects, CDS Models, AMDP, SAP UI5, OData developments

• Proven knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) based design & development and ABAP Restful Programming Model

Preferred Qualifications:

• Understanding of the SAP RISE Model

• Experience with BRIM and ARIBA

• Exposure to compliance regulations like GDPR, ITAR and Export Compliance

• Experience with Data Masking and Data Anonymization techniques

The annual salary for this position is between $130,000-$170,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
