Position Title: SAP ABAP Developer

• SD/MM Analyst

Location: High Point, NC

I: Essential Job Functions:

• Deliver SAP ABAP technical design and development across multiple SAP modules including: Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), Logistics Execution (LE), Warehouse Management (WM), and Financial Controlling (FICO).

• Perform systems analysis and programming duties involving complex applications, initiating corrective actions as necessary to ensure continuing code quality and performance improvements.

• Take responsibility for all production data changes in configuration within SD and MM Modules.

• Interpret functional specifications to develop ABAP reports and applications utilizing ABAP best practices.

• Design, develop, and code complex ALV and other programs for the various SAP modules.

• Enhance Sales orders, Deliveries, Purchase Orders, materials and other areas of SAP using standard user exit and enhancement points to meet general business requirements.

• Program report outputs to formatted excel and PDF.

• Work extensively with output forms including both SAPScript and SmartForm design and programming including bar code technology.

• Work with IDOC development and processing.

• Configure and maintain new and existing functionality in the SD and MM modules in SAP for Production Data Changes.

• Use and knowledge of best practices for maximizing program performance tuning on custom programs.

• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation and technical unit test plans ensuring compliance to existing standards.

• Prepare detailed program analysis of existing solutions documenting all areas.

• Create functional and technical specifications.

• Research OSS Notes to improve business/system processes or resolve issues.

• Supervise developers in Vietnam Office with responsibility to oversee all development work.

• Train development team and users including creating training documentation.

• Provide support to Business Users.

II: Experience or Qualifications Required:

• 7 years of experience with ABAP programming, of which at least 5 years involved ECC 6.0 and 2 years involved hands-on SAP configuration experience in SD/MM modules.

III: Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field.

IV: Special Skills Required:

• Understanding of SAP development integration points;

• Ability to understand and interpret functional specifications into technical designs;

• Experience working with functional analyst to provide feedback on possible solution designs and changes;

• Proficiency in analyzing and debugging ABAP Code;

• Ability to develop solution using Object Oriented ABAP Methodology, Interactive Reporting and Dialog programming, ALV List and Grid Reports;

• Experience with use of Enhancements, User Exits, BADIS, Function Exits, BAPI, BDC, Interface programming and Data conversions;

• Experience in EDI processing;

• Experience supervising lower-level developers;

• Ability to perform technical testing and functional testing;

• Demonstrated experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) warehouse management and material flow; and

• Experience with IT Ticket systems and supporting end users.
