Responsibilities and Essential Duties
Clean and sanitize the food production facility according to guidelines and cleaning checklist.
Report to supervisor any safety hazards and chemicals; product spills or improperly sealed/stored items.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by properly disposing of cleaning chemicals, trash, etc. and ensuring any spills are cleaned up quickly and according to safety guidelines.

Knowledge, Skills Abilities
Must be able to use cleaning agents (solutions/chemicals), supplies and equipment. Must be able to understand chemical labels, follow instructions and use cleaning checklist.
Must follow safe working practices in accordance with Company safety policies and practices, and standard operating procedures. Prior experience operating power sanitation equipment and cleaning hand tools helpful.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is subject to a typical food production environment (varied temperatures; frequent refrigerated/cold environment) and is rarely exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee will be exposed to refrigerated/freezer coolers on a frequent basis. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
