Sanitation Technician - Second Shift

SANITATION TECHNICIAN Our Production team is looking for a Sanitation Technician We are particularly interested in candidates with basic mechanical troubleshooting skills, and knowledge or experience in beer/beverage manufacturing. The Sanitation Technician position is an hourly, full-time position, and will work second shift.

Job summary The Sanitation Technician is responsible for cleaning the packaging equipment, sanitizing the equipment and preparing packaging goods for the next packaging run. What you would do Lead & act in a manner that is consistent with our Mission, Vision & Values. Disassemble, clean, reassemble and sanitize bottle filler and can filler.

Disassemble, clean, reassemble bottle labeler. Clean and break down product tanks. Ensure packaging equipment is gluten free, when applicable.

Clean conveyors, machines and surrounding areas to prevent mold growth. Ensure packaging equipment is free of any broken glass/potential contaminants. Prepare and stage packaging materials and equipment for the following runs.

Abide by all food safety and GMP rules and regulations. Follow production processes relating to this position and offer solutions to make processes more efficient and effective. Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Able to work in environments of heat, cold, & humidity. Ability to work in confined spaces. Ability to go up & down stairs repeatedly throughout an entire shift.

Be able to work in a standing position for up to 10 hours at a time. Able to bend, squat, reach & manually scrub. Must be able to work evenings/nights.

Desired qualifications Forklift experience. Chemical handling experience. Knowledge or experience in beer/beverage manufacturing.
