Monitor all quality aspect of components and assemblies produced internally or by external sources.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform incoming and in process inspections in accordance with customer and or industry standards. Maintain inspection equipment and verify calibration. Complete all inspection documentation for components including first article inspections as required. Completion of all documentation and paperwork to perform job. All other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES: Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control. Ability to work in a team environment, as well as, autonomously. Excellent manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Capable of handling stressful situations. Ability to read and comprehend instructions. Able to read and understand blueprints, manuals, schematics and other technical documents; Maintain sense of urgency and ability to prioritize work. Sound understanding of the principles of the various products.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS (SPECIALIZED): Experience in ISO/FDA quality concepts preferred 3 years related field experience Experience in the use of the following inspection equipment: calipers, micrometers, optical comparator, thread gages, dial indicators, CDI torque meter/tester, height gage, gage pins and other inspection equipment as required.
Ideal schedule Monday- Friday 6:00 am- 2:30 pm overtime as needed basis.
