Sanitation Maintenance Technician (3Rd Shift)

Position Overview:

Are you a night owl with technical maintenance skills and a passion for upholding cleanliness standards? We're on the hunt for a committed Third-Shift Sanitation Maintenance Technician. Your role is critical in keeping our production equipment in top condition, ensuring operational readiness, and adhering to food safety standards. This position is vital to our production team's success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team during the night shift to ensure equipment cleanliness and functionality.

• Reassemble and perform minor adjustments or repairs on equipment after sanitation, ensuring machinery is ready for operation.

• Warm up machinery for the next day, verifying operational standards are met.

• Identify and report maintenance or repairs needed to maintain smooth production line operations.

• Comply with safety standards, including using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Lockout Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and safe work practices.

• Manage an inventory of sanitation supplies, equipment, and parts.

• Operate sanitation equipment, including sanitizer foggers, to ensure a clean and safe production environment.

• Take on additional sanitation and production preparation tasks as required.

Position Competencies:

• Knowledge of maintenance fundamentals (bearings, sprockets, chains, motors).

• Proficiency in safely handling equipment, with a strong understanding of Lockout Tagout (LOTO) procedures.

• Familiarity with sanitation practices, GMP, cleaning, sanitizing, and lubricating chemicals.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with the Production and support departments during the night shift.

Essential Functions:

• Can work in varied environments, including cold storage and room temperature.

• Physical ability to lift or move items weighing 25 to 50 pounds.
