This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible. The Screen-out Element for this position is: 1. Interpreting instructions and planning and distributing workload accordingly, based on employee's availability, ability and capability. 2. Estimating and requesting personnel in accordance with the workload requirements and ensure the necessary blueprints, tools and supplies are obtained. 3. Ensuring employees fully understand and properly carry out the supervisor's directives and instructions. 4. Setting the pace of work, answering questions on procedures, policy and instructions from employees and performing the more difficult elements of the non-supervisory work. 5.Reviewing and spot checking work in progress and upon completion, ensure proper quality, procedures and quantity of output have been met. 6.Assuring safety and housekeeping rules are followed, materials and equipment are properly and safely stored and maintained; Reporting to supervisor on status of work or delays encountered.

Follows established procedures in reporting over, short, misdirected, or damaged materials. * Packs and/or preserves a variety of items.
