Description

Clary Sage College is looking for a Salon Laundry Assistant! Full-time with full benefits. Schedule: Mon- Thur 1:30pm-10:30pm, Fri. 8:00am-5:00pm

General Function: The Salon Laundry Assistant will assist instructors and students with client needs as it pertains to managing laundry, sanitization, general cleaning of the Dispensary, and organization of salon and spa supplies. Managing laundry includes sorting, washing, folding, organizing, and dispensing of linens for the Massage Therapy, Esthetician, Cosmetology, Nail, and Barber departments. All other duties as assigned by the Purchasing Manager and Campus Director.

Minimum Requirements: Excellent Customer Service, organization skills, strong work ethic, dependable, and energetic. Beauty industry product knowledge is a plus.

Physical Requirements: Medium work exerting up to 50 pounds of force, and/or 20 lbs of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Must be physically fit and have the ability to stand for extended periods of time, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to work with industrial laundry equipment, cleaning equipment, and cleaning chemicals.
