Salon Field Manager- Pittsburgh


To drive sales and profit by communicating and reinforcing the consistent execution of standards and building operational capability within our salons.

REPORTS TO: Sr. Field Manager

KEY PARTNERSHIPS: Salon Manager; General Manager; Human Resource Manager; District Manager; Artistic Lead Designer


  • Communicates and reinforces the Salon strategy to the team

  • Embodies and articulates the vision of the brand; reviews and evaluates the execution of salon standards and the client experience; visits (physically or virtually) stores to review operating standards, processes and procedures; challenges and influences teams to meet standards by communicating and reinforcing expectations.

  • Coaches and develops Salon team

  • Builds operational capability of salon teams through the use of ongoing coaching and feedback; partners with store leadership to identify and address developmental needs within salon teams; conducts operational and leadership skills training; builds salon teams through the attraction, selection and development of salon talent.

  • Understands and articulates salon strategies, direction and initiatives

  • Reviews and interprets salon communications (e.g., standards, pricing changes, events, etc.); participates in conference calls and meetings to learn about new initiatives and strategies impacting the business; shares insights and leverages salon subject matter expertise with others to help drive the salon strategy; informs and supports change by explaining why changes are made and how these contribute to the overall salon strategy.

  • Analyzes salon business performance

  • Reviews targeted reports and salon processes to identify sales and profit performance opportunities, determining root causes and planning/taking action to address issues; understands the competitive landscape and leverages industry insights to build competitive advantage.

The Zscaler Field Marketing Manager is responsible for developing strategically focused marketing activities and programs designed to support the sales process from prospecting to close and up-sell. These activities are customized to specific regions, reps, accounts, contacts, and opportunities. The Field Marketing Managers are tightly aligned to the sales team and continually evaluate against quarterly goals to ensure positive contributions are being made to develop new business pipeline.
