Position Summary:

Brady islooking for a Engineer to join our software development team.Bring your engineering strengths and passion to help Brady create effectivesolutions in and around to optimize our sales and serviceoperations. If you love to solve complex problems using a modern developmentenvironment and technology stack, we want to talk to you.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with sales and service teams to understand their needs and propose the right technology solutions

  • Manage business stakeholder expectations and maintain adequate communication

  • Create and maintain appropriate project artifacts (user stories, process flows, etc.)

  • Design and develop solutions using Apex/Visualforce following best practices of systems development

  • Design and develop web services and/or batch programs to integrate to other systems

  • Develop automated unit tests using Apex testing framework

  • Evaluate, recommend and utilize appropriate third party solutions as necessary

  • Automate systems administration tasks through development of scripts in appropriate scripting languages

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

  • 5 years of development experience with a strong background in Salesforce

  • Working knowledge of Apex and Visualforce development

  • Experience with one or more programming languages like C# and Javascript

  • Experience with systems integration preferably using REST web services

  • A good understanding of automated testing

  • Ability to diagnose and debug issues within development environments and customer solutions

  • Automatedregression test development using tools like Selenium
