Our healthcare industry client is seeking a Salesforce Solution Architect on a Contract-to-Hire basis. This position will be responsible for the architectural and design decisions for all Salesforce implementations and integrations within the organization.
Solution Architect works with cross-functional teams to design solutions to meet the needs of internal clients from a variety of business units. Architect must also have hands-on Salesforce development experience to step in when necessary to handle urgent or important development tasks associated with production systems. Key technical skills include (but not limited to) Force.com, Apex, Rest, Java, Visual Basic.
Work closely with business users and business analysts to elicit and analyze business systems requirements, and propose effective, efficient solutions using Salesforce and related technologies.
Write and review functional and detailed design specifications, based on requirements.
Lead discussions with cross-functional stakeholders regarding proposed solutions and on-going development projects.
Participate in design and code reviews
Work within multiple software development models including Waterfall and Agile
Adhere to all HIPAA and SOX software development compliance policies and procedures
Mentor other teammates on code, design and development
Highly skilled in salesforce architecture and design.
Interact with SF users to identify needs and implement solutions
Customize Salesforce.com including field creation, validation rules, triggers, workflows, custom objects, Apex code, Visualforce
User management: Creation and customization of roles, profiles, layouts, access and sharing rules
Analytics: creation and maintenance of reports,dashboards and notifications
REST API, Conga, Efax, CTI and other app exchange products and integration with Salesforce.com

Education, licenses, certifications, and experience required to fulfill the essential duties, include computer skills as required.
Bachelor of Science in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Software Engineering or equivalent years of experience required
5+ years experience in the design and development of Force.com applications
3+ years experience in the design and development of apps, triggers and complex Apex code required
Deep understanding of Salesforce with the ability to utilize 'out of the box' Salesforce capacities and features
Advanced computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required
Data migration with different platforms, Oracle, SQL etc
Experience with managed packages (Apptus, DocuSign or similar)
Experience with complex implementations, multiple user groups in 1 org.
